According to feedback from the real life drivers, they seem to have a lot of fun running the mod already. Some of them are experienced LFS and iRacing simracers, but nonetheless seem to be quite enthousiastic about the mod ;D
The initial physics I got with help from Ron and Dave have been much closer to the real thing than I would have expected to get. Which means our assumptions, based on theory only, about how the car should feel have been pretty much accurate. It's actually only rather minor issues on physics that have to be fixed

You know... the more I look at those cars, the more kick-ass they look. I have always been impressed with your work, Karl.... and this is no exception. Top quality in details, as usual. Keep up the great work, and I look forward to its release. ;D

The physics are totally done. A big thanks to Ron for his guidance and suggestions in that department. But as of right now, when I have the time, I've been tinkering with the cockpit, that has a minor issue, which I still can't figure out how to fix, then there's the job of doing some LOD modeling on it. This as Mauro knows is a learn as you go kind of project. It ain't easy, and I dabble with it when I have the time. This has kinda become just a personal "pet project" for myself to learn a few things. Will we ever release it, not sure. Maybe in the year 2013... One day when I've exhausted every single tutorial, and finally can't figure something out on my own, I'll holler for the big guns for advice. But for now, this has become to be just a personal thing I wanna mess with for my own personal self.

kill joy oh well good luck with it nah not a kill joy.. Mauro, gave me a gift, the gift of wanting to accomplish something at my own pace, and also letting me stumble and learn for myself. Sorry Karl for hijacking this thread. I'm done.

Sorry Karl for hijacking this thread. I'm done. Thats how modding is done. Perfect it untill its really done. Whether it takes weeks or months. Rather release something that is close to perfection (or perfection itself ) then a half-baked mod. Patience is key. And we're all waiting patiently for Karl's mod
