Man Karl, the McLaren looks awesome. A lot better then the one in the Isch mod. 3x as many poligons should have that effect ;D The only flaw with the McLaren in ISCH mod is too much height, but else than that, its as accurate as you can make that car with only 1150 poligons.... its perfect for that few poligons. And definitely one of the best models from that era when you had to stay that low with poligons

finally, and while fixing some bugs on the mesh on the way... as well as adding wipers and doorhandles and some other minor enhancements, I even found a way to get the #35 Porsche car paint done . Was quite a struggle, but was worth it Real life one had run in BPR series in '96, but for integrity reasons, I've put on the FIA GT 97 numberplates that all other cars run as well And just in case someone's curious: yes, the yellow Rohr GT1 Porsche is in, too.

Awesome looking Karl!
If only, those headlights are so transparent that look as if theres no glass, maybe making them a bit darker would improve the car?

Awesome looking Karl! If only, those headlights are so transparent that look as if theres no glass, maybe making them a bit darker would improve the car? slightly darker, and put a shine on them, then even though you can see thru the glass by like 99 percent, you'll see them glare when the light hits them right. It's the perfect effect. Kinda like the cockpit view windows in the COT platinum mods.... it's 100% clear, but you know the glass is there due to the shine.

You have to take into consideration that this is no ingame screenshot, but a zmod render image. Which is quite different from you'll get in the game, at least concerning blending and light reflection effects
The headlights actually are defined for blending and on the 911GT2/3 they do well in the game. It's been made exactly the same way as the ones on the GT1
But it's definitely something to check for once the car enters Heat.

Then lets get on with the obvious question: WHEN is it going to be in heat? ;D ;D ;D
