Earning my wings again ;D ahh, the "jump" at Suzuka long version, I still like that track!! ;D Getting the track Crossover to work in that one for Heat was a challenge, and the Collision walls at the crossover. Too bad that never was a popular one, is a great layout.

The flying was fun but the landing sucked, got a bit of suspension damage and had to crawl back to the pits ;D . That was my first lap ever on that track, definitely did not expect that jump ;D .

yep, damage is the rub. The "jump" had to be done since Heat has limits for track crossovers, and the only way I could do it was to "jump" over the lower track. Had to angle the upper track surface to get some lift to get over, and angle the landing track to help prevent damage. The orange "dip" sign warns it is upcoming, and the 4 orange cones define the "open" space that must be jumped over. Even though it appears there is a drivable track surface at the crossover, you can drive off the edge into a hole from the upper level. Preventing damage is the challenge, but does distract from being realistic for the overall great layout.

So as some of you know, I had to move, they're remodeling our place, putting in expensive stuff, so they can charge higher rent get out riff raff, etc. So we got a place down the road. Better in some ways, worse in others, like no cell service in an area where we should have great service. Well my desk didn't fit into our office! So I had to get a new desk, the old one who is falling apart any way. But I've started playing heat again. One thing about this desk though, is that it is lighter. Hence I can nearly throw everything off. Yet I am racing, Shelby has my attention right now. I'm hoping work will work with me so I can race.

Great news your back to playing heat and focusing on the Shelby.. After the New Year, come look for Wes or myself, we could use a helping hand with an expert like you with the Shelby, in some last minute stuff we've been thinking of. Will talk more..
