the AC adapter only does force feedback so you should still be able to use it without it. (i dont know why he didnt include it I gave him mine) BTW I never used that crappy FFB with my MOMO

well it's here, and it's going to take some getting used to. lol oh, and lacking the AC adapter i found will be a toughie too. but i think i can acquire one. that was the only thing I was missing, u should see how they packaged those stupid things in the oringal box, was hidden INSIDE the styrophome in a pocket which was completely not visible, we had 3 momos and only found 1 power chord... ( i am keeping 1 wheel as a backup) And the top cover is missing, but completely unessential ... i actually didnt know how to unlock the wheel until that part accidentaly fell off once. Anyways enjoy, the software is a free download from logitech (profiler) so I didnt include the disc as its way out dated.

the software is a free download from logitech (profiler) To setup your momo with force feed back and etc, you don't even need the logitech (profiler) I don't even use that software anymore. You can setup your wheel, by going into your control panel and then select game controllers. I use this so I can switch between Heat and LFS on the fly. And the force feed back and setting up the wheel works great for me. (This is with using my handy momo wheel) P.S. For a G25 I do use the profiler for G25.

Did some offline races against AI to get used to traffic and fighting on this track. Pretty good fun ;D but the AI are tough fighters , at least if you try to run clean - and that's great practice for online races. Best lap so far is the occasional high 0:56. Tires should do fine for both race lengths.
The important thing here not to try to push by braking late - it simply won't work. It's faster to turn in slow and exit fast

well i know this may suck for me in the short term, it will be better for me in the long term. I've practically had to restart in learning how to play this game with a steering wheel. So I erased my records from the controller, although I remembered the top time. Yet today I got my first 56. I still have a long way to go, but I seem to get better and better. It is hard stuff, but i still have 5 days to work on it.

whoop!!im from south africa!! sunday is going to be my 1st race,im practising tonight! i can enter right? Welcome to Speedsims Sure you can join the race ! But pls join to the server at least 15 min before race time, better 30 mins, to get familiar with the procedure. You should be able to run stable laptimes < 1 min at least , and ~ 0:58s to be competitive. Doing some offline races against the AI would be some good practice, especially before first race, as they run ~ 0:58s here and are no easy prey at fighting ;D To get a good idea about your fellow competitor's drivelines and speed, it would be great if you could join today's online practice session at 9 pm

At the mods main screen go thru these steps: 1. Type in your handle name were it says Players Name. 2. Select Multiplayer 3. Next screen select the car your going to drive then click on the the select button. 4. Next screen always click on the ISDN for multiplayer use. Then click on the word "find 5. That will bring up a little menu asking you to enter in "Host IP address" Here you would type in the server's IP address. 6. Type in speedsims.no-ip.org Click ok. You will get a message that says "request succeeded" 7 Next menu select connect. Once you do that it will bring you into the server's lobby Hope to see you there

From main screen, go to Multiplayer section, then chose a car, then enter the Server lookup/setup screen. Simply enter the address speedsims.no-ip.org and press search button. this should show the server immediatly, Next press the join server button... that's it Server address for each next race is always displayed at www.speedsims.net, top right section. But basically its always speedsims.no-ip.org If you are new to online simracing, it's important to get used to some things - rules: check the series' rules page for basic racing/fighting/lapping/etc rules. Basic rule is: the one behind is responsible for safety at fighting, unless the one in front does something weird or nonreasonable. If you run close behind someone, ALWAYS brake sooner than that one or drive left/right from him ... else its likely you will hit your opponent at braking for a turn. ... cars in front close in faster at braketime than you'd expect them to do . Try fighting AI in close traffic for this - setting up the car. Unline in real Shelby series, here you have to setup your car yourself. Or rather: you CAN setup the car yourself, or run the setup provided from setup page. The provided setup will be ok, but may not exactly match your driving style. To tweak it for better use, check here how to: www.speedsims.net/tutorials/setup_guide_index.html- If you are using autoshift, better switch to manual shifting. Autoshift is at least 1 sec per lap - Always brake earlier than your first guess would be where to brake. To be fast, the golden rule is: slow in, fast out. The other way is not just slower, but will end you up offtrack more often ;D - in warm-up runs (the 1h before race) admins check on how drivers perform on the track. It's no problem if a driver is slow - safe driving is more important by far. So first aim on practice should always be to be able to run a clean, safe line on the track and in traffic. By practicing to get used to car and track, speed increases as a sideeffect anyway
