Trim Adjustment in Garage

Hey, all. I also posted this over at the Modsquad.
One problem many heat modders have had to deal with when making their UI, is what to do with that pesky "Trim" label in the garage.
The trim adjustment was added to heat in one of the patches somewhere along the line. If the heat user has "show_trim_adjuster yes" set in their options.cfg file, Then a 7th adjustment slider is added under the Wheel Lock setting on the left.
That just looks ugly if you're making your own garage background, So I was able to find and edit out the text in the patch.bin file. The result....
I am able to use my own "Trim" label without it being slopped up with the plain text.
The problem with that is, that any other Heat mod's garage would then be without the add-on Trim label.
I am wondering if heat users who use multiple mods are familiar enough with the trim adjustment to know where it is without the label.
I know with the dos res_tools and some batch files, a "patch" could be made with the new patch.bin file and drop a new garage image into the original game. Problem here is that one mod maker can't make a patch that patches any and all mods on a users computer. The ability is probably there, but I'd think it's ethically wrong.
The answer would be to offer the edited patch.bin file and then an edited garage screen with the new trim lable (and black box) included. The user could execute the batch file in any mod folder he wants to have his garage screen updated in that particular mod.
(I have trouble explaining things quickly, lol, but you guys get my point)
Is this something people would be interested in?
