I'm going to have to withdraw from the event, leaving the #52 free for the taking. I will be unable to attend, due to the fact the one of the staffers below me has sabotaged the newspaper that I edit, and I have a ton of work to catch up with for the city. Good luck to whoever runs the event, and may the best man win.

I won't be able to make this event. I have some work to my car, I need to get that done while I have time. However I do hope to run some practice sessions as this mod is just fantastic. Good luck to everyone. Here's my tex file as this is the Group C car I'll use whenever for now on. That said, any word on a series for this mod? When I was able to make the races for last season it was some of the most fun I've had on heat. Attachments:

Had the most weird experience ever in simracing in that race, when I crashed into a single wheel between T1 and T2. Some leftover from someone else's railing encounter probably. What I didn't expect at all: that wheel caused severe damage to my car's front. The reason I ended up behind was more simple though. Wasn't used to long races anymore, and had lost focus at about lap 20 a couple of times. Had a ton of fun nonetheless |

Had a ton of fun nonetheless I had the same problem, was doing okay in the race, then in the closing laps I seemed to lose my focus and started wiping myself out. Chris got right by me for the lead and win.. Was a ton of fun getting back into the Group C mod, always an adrenaline rush for me!! |

Well to be honest, I never expected to win with the 2 aliens (Crash and Dave) joining this special event. Luckily I was able to run consistent laps and the tire degradation was acceptable for the long stints. To my surprise, 4 laps before the end of the race I was able to set my personal fastest lap of the race. The reason I ended up behind was more simple though. Wasn't used to long races anymore, and had lost focus at about lap 20 a couple of times. Had a ton of fun nonetheless I had the same problem, was doing okay in the race, then in the closing laps I seemed to lose my focus and started wiping myself out. Chris got right by me for the lead and win.. Better get used to it again because I'm planning 45 minute races for the HMC series for later this year. |

Was great fun except for the lag hit right after the pits  Zero front wing and +2 secs per lap for the whole 2nd half. Anyway I had a blast, as always with these cars, and everyone behaved very well. Looking forward to see whats coming next |
