yeah racing in the wrong mode (expert) these cars where awesome handling!and you could send the back right out for some awesome drifting!! Changing to hardcore brang back the realism a bit however easy on the gas the rear sliding out in anything lower than 3rd gear over 3000RPM's so still having the spin outs problem but by Zolder race start I hope to have the spinning under control. I am really looking forward to getting back on the track with ya Karl and hopefully sooner rather than later Crash, I tell ya a $NZ20 PS2-USB converter and playing heat through a controller ain't to bad, Takes a bit of getting use to but I cant race on anything else (well I don't have a wheel) of course you race on the analog stick for precise control, just a thought to chuck in there for ya if you would like to still make it, and racing with a sore shoulder as I am at the moment only a very small problem if you like to lean into the corners otherwise no sweat, hope ya still make it out . If you would like a bit of advice ksheppard I found that putting the front weight up to around 51.4ish (GT2 BMW) gave the car a more direct feel for me Harding

And he was damn fast .. though I'd always recommend using some FF wheel nonetheless

correct me if i'm wrong, but it seems to me that using a KB would force a "driver" to find optimal brake and turn in points due to the 1/0 nature of the controler and therefore the result would be a fast car. less fun and instructional than a wheel though.
just tried it and i also think a KB is faster on the gas & brake:
3 fingers on your left hand cover: 'a' = shift down 's' = accelerator 'd' = shift up left thumb: 'space' = brake right hand to steer using the arrows with auto clutch you never need to lift 's' this means the rev's should stay higher and so less turbo lag

we used to have a very fast viper racing driver who used kb but since he was a classical guitarist, he was able to use all his fingers each doing their own thing. most of us don't have that many i/o ports to the wetware. pretty sure im single channel serial myself. why you don't see me typing during races for sure.

... anyone willing to divulge some target lap times yet Id gess somwhere in the low 1.41s high 1.40s would be a time to work for mate. Ive managed @ zolder 6laps then fuel light came on(tyres wer near there limit aswell but that might be my setup) with a best of 1.39.2 but was sitting @ low 1.41s high 1.40s. GT2 Bimmer

Hi everyone!
I'll try to make the first race. As soon as I get my dfp to work in NH I'll begin the tests. I'm glad to see that this comunity is alive.
I haven't decided yet which car to take.

it's good to be back. It would be very helpful if you post your settings both profiler and ingame.I can't setup the rotation properly. Thanks
