is there a way to read them so i can edit it for privet use This type of post has come up a few times recently over at Nascar Heat's main community web site The Mod Squad, and it seems there's been a rash of people lately trying to "hack" existing car model physics, and we can't be supporting that kind of thing due to the massive cheating that can take place. So I'm just going to repeat what Raybee1970 the admin over there has said several times recently to folks. I'm sure he won't mind if I quote him. For future reference, we won't support showing people how to read the .val file, and it is not supported here. If you are intending to make a brand new mod, you can contact one of the other mod makers and they can help you, but if your intentions are to change an existing mod's physics, you need to go to the original mod creator and ask them first... because in most cases, how they have finalized physics, is how they want them... especially for online, so no cheating can take place. It just makes it fairer for everyone if they would run what is there. Meaning what is released for the mod.... not a user edit from some place else. That is cheating. Most folks nowadays wanting to know how to do this, only want it for cheating purposes.... and we can't support cheating. Sorry.
