It was an awesome race last night! That was racing with capital "R". Very few misfortunes here and there.  Tire wear management, speed, fine driving and pit strategy were big factors. There was plenty of overtakings. It was truly enjoyable, IMO. Congrats to T-bone for the a brilliant work! That was a huge win!  See you guys on the next week at the fantastic ROAD AMERICA race! |

It was a tough and unusual race last night. Full of events like blown tires, cars running out of fuel, off track rides..... you name it. Spike was amazing!! Great performance!!  Too bad for Chris and Patch who were really fast but ran out of fuel. Ouch!!  Congrats to Dave fir the win and everyone else for trying... ;D Remember, next race is only on June 5th at Talladega!!!! Hope to see you all there!!!!! . |

Hope to see you all there!!!!! . Yea it was a tough race last night. Chris did awesome with qualifying 2nd place last night. Good job to him. I don't think he's raced a Nascar Cup Mod since Heat05 at IORS. On lap 6th I would of ran out of gas also, if I didn't half throttle and slow down my speeds. We were having so much fun at our last practice last Monday night we forgot to do a fuel run to see how far we could go.. First time I've forgotten to do that in years.  Was just having to much fun at practice watching everyone having fun.. It was a great race last night. |

Too bad for Chris and Patch who were really fast but ran out of fuel. Ouch!! Well the running out of fuel wasn't the problem but climbing the hill up to pit lane. When I was halfway up the hill I dropped back due to lack of speed. I finaly made it up the hill, because when the cars speed drops below 5MPh, the engine starts briefly and boosts you speed, when I almost was standing still I slammed the brake and the engine started again, boosting it for a moment, so that process was repeated untill I reached the top. When I was serviced I was 4 laps down. |

Congrats DaveO for winning the race and first ever G3 Oval Series Champion!! We definately had a great season here with top class drivers and above all... gentlemen!!! But.... we are not finished yet, next race is the Road Series finale and still counts to both ..... RC and Overall championships. Dont miss it, guys! The party is not over yet!!! . |

Mauro you raced an exceptional series yourself, with a win, several top 5's, you were fast at every track, and you worked real hard every week with practicing, and learning new things also with setups..
