The incident report is now up.. When an incident is caused by someone's connection having some lag, we don't hand out penalty's for that. That's what we call a race accident. But we do highly recommended that you show up at least 15 minutes prior to a race and check your connection prior to a race..

i just looked at sat' ga dayt replay. b4 the incidents reports come out i'd like to say sorry. i now realize that i drove thru some one in a blue? car & and he may have sustained damaged. i was also driven thru but no damage. i didnt get to do fuel or tire wear runs and wasnt prepared for when the track rubbered in. i ended up slipping off track on the last str8 constantly. the car slitting was lag caused, and my apologies on that. as for the slippings well i'll try to do better in gc this weekend, & any penalties awarded will not b contested. also sorry grumpy we have it going good but again lag dampened things. see u all on sat. So that was you trying a new hover motor out . I got 30% front spoiler damage from it but oh well I had a blast chasing ucrdoh down . Hope your connection is better for the next round. If you run an older PC these higher poly car mods can cause lag if your pc is not upto the challenge. I myself limit how far I see to 50 % and to about 6-7 cars on track; 4 in front, 2-3 behind to keep lag from being an issue on my end and just to make sure I have no heat issue I pop the side of the case off for races especially the marathon multimod ones.

Just for the record guys, in all the years I've raced online with Earl, I've never seen him lag before. Something on his end just was not up to par that day. I've already sent him a pm, given him some ideas on how to take care of any problems.. See you all Saturday..

as a matter of fact grumpy, tell what your in game wheel callibration is. it could be that you need to adjust your dead zone, overshoot, non linear setting. i did that for the last race & it improved my drive, trust me.
long red bar on d z impedes turning. i would use alot of it overshooting is still a mystery to me but i reset mine
non linear long red i think dampens turning, low red increases turn ability.
maybe others can clarify this setting more. fiddle with yours till the screen wheel movements reflect your physical motions as closely as possible. your wheel may be to loose.

For me, putting all settings to zero is working best. If you have a reasonably good wheel, you dont really need dead zone. If you put non-linear steering to max that means that it will steer exponentially. Less precise in my view since the more you steer the harder its to predict how much you wheel is turning in the game. Non-linear steering makes the small steering movements, when you start to turn the wheel, more precise, but when you go to full lock it becomes alot less precise compared to a linear setting. Overshoot is simply telling the game that the control axis is shorter then it really is so you alway use the full length of the axis. For example: If your throttle axis shows that the red bar is not filled fully when fully pressed, then setting a bit of overshoot might help. This way you'd never end up using only the throttle partially for the game. I hope this clears things a bit up. cheers, Triz

My PC was made in 2003 and is maxed out on upgrades due to limited psu power. I can't run anything more than a 128mb vid card. Depending on your model you might be able to upgrade more for cheap. All the upgrades on mine come in under $100 which includes 2gb of ram, new(in 2009) 160gb hd, used 128mb nvidia vid card. I'd like to upgrade to a new pc but that just has to wait till some other things work out. Don't worry about it Earl, I used most of my tires up by that time anyways, hard to not drive balls out at the beginning

Who would have thought I could get stuck in the same wall again Did you misjudge the turn? Looking at the replay you went in full throttle (230Mph), never slowed down, at least not until you hit the barrier.

I was going to have to pit next lap. I never expected it to become stuck. I guess I figured out where the hole is which can get you in the wall and stuck.
