I believe Dave did run a test lap at the track, that should be your baseline. But I did beat it once.

Records show that Dave has a 1:38 as fastest on the Daytona RC track. I don't know if the G3 Daytona is much different, but I guess you could focus on this I won't be able to start testing until friday due to real life activities. Cheers Chris

Cheers Chris SCP lap times for Daytona RC vs G3-Daytona_RC_GA, my lap times are in the same ball park. My fastest lap with G3-Daytona_RC_GA was 1.36.7 with no draft. Shoot for 1.38's - 1.40 range. I also tested out Group C @ original Daytona_RC track, lap times are 124.5 to hitting 1.23's easily for my first stint with running Group C @ Daytona RC in a long time. Also remember this is a road racing event, I would recommend not drafting for a long time with guys on the straight or back stretch, because you will find yourself getting in wrecks, when you need to slow down quickly from running your car at such a high rate of speed, to enter the RC part of the track. Also take advantage in the garage area of the ride height for the front and rear of the car. See you guys on Saturday!!

I'll be on the server today @ 4pm est . I won't be practicing today, had enough practicing last night. Nitrous! Just combine your track plate racing style, with a little bit of RC racing and you will be able to do it also. Big help is memorizing your shifting and braking points.
