I also heard Dave likes to 'sleep/dream' during his GrandAm races in the closing stages (Interlagos n Daytona RC for example)... And then says it's minimized or he's watching other peoples battles Ofcourse we believe Dave when he says that cheers, Triz |

Interlagos race , If my memory is right, I had a 25 or 40 second lead, in the closing laps of the race, I started watching Triz, and Chris battle for position of 2nd and 3rd place. They were having such a good fight for position, I smacked my car right into the wall. I limped home to a 2nd place finish. hmmm You won that race too didn't you Triz? I think I see what is happening, Chris and Triz are putting a curse on my car. LOL Just teasing!! |

LMAO!! and I wonder who's battle I was watching? Interlagos race , I had like a 25 or 40 second lead, in the closing laps of the race, I started watching Triz, and Chris battle for position of 2nd and 3rd place. They were having such a good fight for position, Not so weird that we were battling for position, we race from the same location and usually use the same setup, so those differences disappear, now the driving style is a different subject, I seem to put a bit more stress on my tires which mean they are worn out faster then Triz's |

NOW for the rest of us....lol Well I wasn't here when this happened, but before dave, it was crash, so yes there is usually someone that rises above the rest. They get it figured out, and just forget about everyone else. I'm sure we haven't seen the end of the Dave era in speedsims. |

NOW for the rest of us....lol Well I wasn't here when this happened, but before dave, it was crash, so yes there is usually someone that rises above the rest. They get it figured out, and just forget about everyone else. I'm sure we haven't seen the end of the Dave era in speedsims. Crash and I have had fantastic battles. It's very hard to explain. Some of my best and most fun races was with Crash for a number of years. We could race each other side to side into any chicane, turn or bus stop as fast as we wanted, and we would know exactly what the other driver would do. We never wrecked one another or crashed.. 100 percent clean racing, and probably the hardest racing I've ever did. I would walk away from a Group C race, or any mod for that matter, after racing him and be totally drained. But it was awesome!! Crash was the ultimate road racer I've ever met, great sportmanship plus a true friend on and off the track. Would give up his winning setups to anyone who asked, and help anyone out. He was champion road racer in Viper racing and Nascar Heat. He could even race RC in a cup car. Didn't matter what mod it was, the guy just plain FAST. Unfortunately his internet connection gave him some trouble near the end. But, don't count him out from not coming back one day!! ;D ;D |
