hey guys, g3 seems to be the only mod i have that loads slow, and tends to have screen stutter at first untill it freezes, after that it seems ok, actually i'm getting stutter to with the trucks at martinsville, is there a setting in heat that i can change to give me better frame rate?

Hey Don, I had that problem way back with G3 when it was in beta when I ran it on my laptop. But it runs fine on all my desktops. Try reinstalling G3 once more and see if that solves the problem... BTW what are your computer specs?

BTW what are your computer specs? 3.06 ghz pentium 4, 512 ram, actually i thought i had more ram then that, maybe one of my sticks has gone bad, hmmm, and i'm not sure on the video card would have to look,, Wow 512mb, upgrade that stat lol. Depending on your system you should be able to max out between 2-4 gb of memory. If your system takes DDR check your local Craigslist or Ebay for cheaper ram as new ddr ram is quite expensive these days.

G3 has onscreen tips for stuttering problems (at Graphics screen). Follow those tips and see what happens.... If you already did and still have the same issues, that means your PC doesnt have the best resources (the memory size by your specs - 512 MB is a bit low) to deal with this mod at full performance. If that is the case, you can still decrease the number of cars in the race (on Setup screen). Try to start with 16 cars and see if the stuttering gets better. .
