Nice ! Hope you don't mind if I be so bold to give one small advice : The colors on car paints look more "natural" if they are a little less colored...LOL ...intense. Reducing saturation does the trick. Instead of using for example #0000ff blue, something like #5656c1 blue would look more realistic Same for any color, inclusing white (perhaps #f7f7f7) and even black (~ #141414).

Hey guys,
I would like to throw my hat into racing this track with you all on Feb. 3. If you all don't know I've decided to take the plunge and write an article on Cholerix's fantastic SportCar GT mod. For the upcoming new Heat magazine. So I think it would be great to race all of ya's also. (even thou I'm an avid oval racer, I have a deep passion for RC racing also) Also if anyone is intrested in wanting to help co/write and test this mod with me it would be great.. For testing purposes were gonna test everything under sun. So if your intrested please drop me a pm on here.
Thanks,
Dave

I should also note that I'm glad WildFire is going to run with you all.He will be sort of an "in-race reporter" for the magazine, and will get comments from you guys for his part of the article regarding the Sportscar GTS mod...and it's online activities here at Speedsims.I'm sure he'll pribably interview Karl about the making of the mod, what inspired him to do it...etc. And I also think WildFire may be hinting at sort of a "tune-up" race with some of you so he can maybe test it a little beforehand, which is why he wanted folks to PM him if they were interested in helping him for his article. That would probably not be nearly as serious as the actual race you have planned...but mostly to get him acustomed to you guys and get a few racer comments "before" the actual big race. But yes...as Karl mentioned...the new Heat e-zine spawned from what happened with the last A.S.S. issue.Alot of us decided to just do our own magazine. We have quite a few guys who will write articles and do graphics for the e-zine and all that. And help you guys can give, will be appreciated. And quotes from yourselves will be taken and you may read something you've said in the magazine. Good luck with the race fellas...and good luck to WildFire in his first stint as an "in-race reporter" ;D
