WOW what a race stuck in a Sheppard sandwich in race1 and half of race2 - and it's almost impossible to get a clean pass on Clare. That BMW seemed to be 3x as wide as it should have been. Great fight Clare Damn I messed up two turns too many in race2 - unlike Petty ;D

What great races! Both races finished much the same myself sitting in 3rd on the 2nd to last lap with Old some distance ahead (15-20secs), and DaveO a few secs in front of me I was elbow deep charging as hard as I could, hoping like hell that Old would need a last blip of fuel to get him home in both cases he did and I managed to build up enough speed to get past DaveO in the 1st section of the track, awesome fun and a true test that shows how close the racing really is when it comes between a GT2 and a GT3 with less than a lap to go . Awesome!! Bring on Sears! ;D

I on the other hand am pssied off with myself, this was the very first race I have ever left without attempting to finish. I did not have very much practice time this past 2 weeks and just at the end of the pre-race events I was begining to dial my setup in. Due to the nature of NH to get looser on line I find every lap I can get in online to be invaluable to my lines & setup work.
I am not a very good driver and I need all my concentration on the road so guys, please fcking please DO NOT fcking chat on the track, fcking EVER! That is what the meeting room is for. All the "srry", "ty", "np", "why", "pass me", ">>>>", "blue flag blue flag let me by", "i wanna start from the back", "wah, wah i gots no frnds these are muh pps, lol" is very distracting and unnecessary! The only exceptions are "xxx" (notice NOT "oh oh, i am leaving the pits now", or "xxxxxxxxxxxxxx" simply "xxx") and anything from race command. (Race command is not necessarily race admin, but rather a person designated by race admin.)
Just to be clear, even though you are finished your race, there are still drivers trying to concentrate through their last lap, DO NOT start chatting until back in the meeting room. This goes for practicing as well, if you join a server with a race in progress, please wait the chatter until, what, where? Oh ya right - back in the meeting room!
To expand a little as I know the rules include ">>>" but that is only helpful to 2 people, car 'a' in front of car 'b'. All the other 16 drivers need to look at the chat, register who is being passed, look at the place list and see if that car is in front of them, then either disregard it or act accordingly. However a) it is the passing driver's responsibilty to pass safely & if not able to then to WAIT until a safe opportunity appears. (If that's 15 laps then to bad, that's racing.) b) it should be easy to alert the driver behind that you know they are there and that you intend to let them through or to let the car in front know that you will be performing a passing attempt simply by the body language of your cars. If driver 'a' being passed or driver 'b' passing driver 'a' can not communicate with the body laguage of their cars then they need to not be racing and learn to drive properly first.
That brings up my next point, you can't drive fast if you can't drive slow. What is so hard about a formation lap to get into place? Watch the race 2 replay formation lap starts, on the last one I had picked that wrong start box & had to wiggle over to the right one only to realize that i was right the first time and had to go back. Tight quarters but I was able to do this without hitting any other car. Good thing too as I'm sure they would have be unhappy if I had damaged their front spoilers. Race drivers are the most elite & sophisticated drivers on the road. Everyone of us should be able to do that little manouver safely. It's basic car control. I drive around town all day at 50km without hitting any other cars around me, I pass them, they pass me and with their body language I know where they are going to go and where I should go. Formation laps are no different.
I realize that communication with your car's body language might be a bit of an abstract concept but keep it in mind next time your out for a drive. Have you ever said to your worried passenger "I saw him, I knew where he was going to go." You read his car's body language. More experienced drivers are better able to communicate this way whereas less experienced drivers can not so they are more dangerous to race with / pass. It's all about getting track time with other drivers. There are guys in this series who I respect a great deal & will run hard with, lap after lap right at their side with out any fear. (I believe they know who they are) Forget passing, lapping & winning, there's no bigger rush in racing than side by side hard driving lap after lap - the longer the better. Better high than any drug! Their skill pushes me and allows me to be brave enough to push them if I can. If something goes wrong then that's called a racing incident, both drivers know & understand and no fault is called, that's racing.
Maybe it's just that I'm Canadian, but I think this is really all just basic, courteous behavior. I believe I've made it clear how I feel so I will not be filing any protest.

I would like to say, a great race weekend for Mach Speed Racing. Daveo in a GT3 running with the GT2 crowd was a great thing to see. Nice run Dave! Our hard work, patience, showed on the track and in the points. We recieved the most points for a race team this race. In our class (GT3) We brought home 1st and 2nd place in both segments. Awesome! Thanks to our fellow drivers for such a great race. See you on the track.

Was a good race . Didnt think the 2nd race start went to well for me .Everyone was telling me to move here ,there , Thought we were standin start for 1st race and 2nd . It just seemed more confusing . Administrators should be the only ones texting during start of race PLEASE.
Thanks to all who are patient with the rookies ,noobs , and txters

In reply to you K.Sheppard, I'm sorry that I said "ty" a few times throughout the race as I found it a very nice gesture that slower lapped cars hoped out of my way nicely so I can carry on easily and I didn't want that to go un-noticed because it was so professinal but I can see how it could be a little distracting so I wont do it again. You said with the >>> the long way you do to work it out etc, you can use my way which I find more simplier if you like I just take a quick look at make a quick note of which way the arrows are, I then carry on racing if I come across a car pass on the correct side overwise forget it.
