hmm ok, After running some laps at Sears Point I came to this conclusion: Sears Point and the Vector don't go well together. I also tried Sears_WGTC track and that went much better. Even on Infineon and Infineon_WGTC I had no problems at all. Main problem with Sears Point is that it's way to slippery So that will mean in the first race that is 15 laps I'll prolly be doing about 10 pitstops. And in race 2 which is 30 laps I'll be doing 25 stops . Anyone coming up behind me to put me a lap down just use your horn to warn me and I'll move over

Yup - the track is slippery But it's the same for everybody - and for the Vector even less, as it has best track/wheelbase ratio
Try moving weight to right and front and stiffen up the car. Lower rear springs to minimum and only put in minimum tire pressure (probably somewhat 27). Helps a lot
Finding a good setup is even more important here than on other tracks

sorry speed-sims teammates for not contributing to the team points. I am just getting too tired of having a trashed car before the end of the first lap, i thought passing someone meant driving around them not through. never looked like that in practice or race. please accept my withdrawal from the team. Joe sorry for hit it looked on my screen like you were on the inside braking for 180 suddenly you were on the outside and i was in your cockpit too. :

Just checked race1 replay and indeed looks like that had been rather rough at places. Opposite to race2 which was quite smooth.
And indeed you seemed to have got the worst of it, Ron... I can well understand you being pissed, having started from 2 only to find yourself on the rear within minutes - but I wouldn't advice to decide anything that short after a race that went awry.
Things like that happen. Bad judgement, being a little too excited, etc - NO ONE of us is save from having inflicted damage on someone else in another race once - or maybe in future races.
On races like such, best advice I can give to simply flush them from memory and go on. Doesn't help to hang on anger
Thus I'd sincerely hope you reconsider and race on

One remark on something weird I only noticed on replay....
when someone runs out of fuel, it's NO option to kick his car to get him back to some speed so he may be able to save some position until finishing line. You have to finish a race on your own ! This is a manadtory cornerstone in each kind of racing. Sim or real life, car, bike, cycling, whatever.
Worse, that way of "lending a hand" very much increases the likehood for race incidents as then there's 2 cars running VERY slow and erratically. Which makes it an absolute "NO GO"
Next time some people sharing a partnership doing this, both cars involved will get disqualified.

Another fun race. A great points battle going on everywhere. GT3 class is very tight. Been a blast racing all of you so far in my rookie season here at Speedsims. Can't wait to get back on the track. Later All. See you on the track.
