Sorry guys, can't attend the race. Back problems hurt me too much to concentrate.
Hopefully I will be back in shape for Adelaide.

Yeah thanx everyone for today was sure a great race. I was also like Richie with not much practice at all actually before this morning had only done about 15 laps with DK senn and myself. I produced a fairly decent setup and figured if I short shifted (not letting her get over 5K) when the fuel light came on I could manage 2 1/2 laps. And not reving over 6,500RPM for the whole race I could do about 9 1/2 laps. This set me good for the 1st race qualifying pole and staying out infront thinking to be well clear, with Senn coming closer then further then closer again showing great turns of speed, I looked in my mirror to see a very close 'grinning' car of Richie before this I had seen Richie was 7 secs behind on leader board this was 2 laps prior. he passed me and got a healthy 8sec lead before pitting on the last lap where I didn't need too.
in the 2nd race I battled my way up to the front rather quick but not far enough to catch Richie he disappeared into the distance and with another short shifting piece of magic I got to the start of lap 10 before pitting. This set me a straight road home although Richie got in front again he needed to pit 2 laps from the end and still short shifting doing 1.33s and with the fuel light on 37s/38s the race was as good as mine as long as the glitchy (18fps) screen didn't freeze which it had a short one for about a sec on the last turn. I battled these condition from about lap 15. With Dad behind me watching my every turn (yes I did show him the handbrake feature). I THINK I MAY have gotten through to him that racing on such shit equipment isn't progressing my online career any further ;D.
On a side note I was very very impressed with everyone racing today, usually to the end of the race the lead runners start chewing up the back of the field. But being lucky enough to be up there in both races there was only a few with BMX who was obvious to have some kind of problem with his connection and car setup just wasn't working. Awesome fun and I hope to make next week although I may be away still up in the air at this stage. If I don't make it though it has been good racing with everyone and I will sure as hell like to compete in a future SCGTS league (possibly GT1 >2 instead of GT2 and GT3).

Had a blast in race1 Though totally messed up start, this "enabled" me to have a great 5-lap fight with Carlos Welcome back mate ! race 2 was... mmmppff... threw away one position in last lap by not paying attention when approaching T1 Another lesson in "it's over only when it's over !"

Was really good fun to get back into heat, though I had almost zero practice and this was my first race with wheel and in cockpit view.
Anyway got a surprisingly good 6th in the grid, right behind Karl and even made quite a good start, but rustyness made me fall back some positions pretty quickly, until Cholerix caught me and I tried everything I could to keep him behind.
His 911 seemed to be more comfortable in corners but the beemer caught up again in the straights and that led to an awesome battle. If Karl says it was 5 laps I have to believe him, I was too busy to focus on the lap counter lol!
Towards the start of the last third of the race, he eventually got past and flew away in the horizon, while my mistreated tyres put me in another fight with another porsche who also got past.
All in all, lots of fun. I'm looking forward to get some more practice again so I can give you all a run for your money ;D

was just reviewing replay... congratulations to everybody ! Was quite smooth racing. No incidents. Just a little pushing and shoving the way it is to be expected at close sportscar racing All within rules Great racing ! ah, btw... Mustang and BMX: please take care there's no major up/downloads on your line when racing ! On several laps of race2, both of you suffer BADLY by lag, both at the same time. And since it's only temporarily, I'd guess some service or alike was running down/uploads on your router line that time
