Or this might be a option, as we usualy run 2 heats, why not run the 1st one in the GT3 and the 2nd one in the GT2 ;D

I like Burnout's and Chris's idea, run different class of cars for certain tracks. But keep all the points in one category since if we do it this way, all drivers will be driving the same class of cars depending on what track it is.

I like that idea, but switching cars for each race might cause problems to a lot of drivers, since you'd not only have to get used to setup and run 1 car type, but 3. I'm not sure if that would draw people IN or rather drive them OUT

The current system is FINE! LEAVE IT KARL!!!
another error! Bsracing 29 23 14 8 ..... team standings..... karl... 23+14+8 is not 29 lol.
Karl if the gt1 is out b4 feb then thats 3 classes... how do u run 1 heat as gt2 and 1 as gt3. Plus not everyone has the time to practice for 2 different classes. Stick to what we've been doing. FINALLY!!!! LIMEROCK!!!!!!!! Ive been there quite a few times and actually road my bike around the track like 20 times (and i did sleep like a limeROCK that night)

Guess there's a misunderstanding...
The suggestion was to race different classes on different tracks, not different classes on the same event. Long tracks would be run GT1, short tracks GT3, while on medium length tracks it would be GT2. So only one class per event
But that would still make people have to get used to very different cars - and if someone would like to use custom paints, he'd have to paint 3 cars instead of just one...

If we do that then crash is put on the same level we are and will kill us. Plus its better competition and i really do not think that the class change will be fair to those who dont have the time to get used to the other class (yes i know 1 class a race but im used to my car and tht helps me when i onyl have 1 hr of pratice a week.
KARL YOUVE DONE A GREAT JOB!!! LEAVE IT MAN!

btw... for adding variety to GT3 class, there'll be a Saleen GT3 addon car. Wish there'd be a GT3 Panoz too, but couldn't reach bdford yet. The good thing is: the Saleen can be added as a single file to the mod as it makes use of textures that are already in the mod. The GT1 cars will require a major mod update and will take quite another while. The GT3 Saleen is almost ready to release

But give the people who want to be switching classes to do so...trying to keep Crash out of the same class as you is nonsense, and I know he can make mistakes too, I saw him once getting offtrack 3 years ago

i like the idea but just the race time has to be the same, EST it cuts into dinner time a bit... had to leave race early for that...

I have witnessed Crash crash . We were racing the V8SC mod myself Crash and Richie and Richie was a bit far behind and we were mucking around and I slid off the camber strip while attempting to pass Crash and gave him a good door slamming I managed to sneak ahead and then under breaking I looked in my mirror to see a car honing in on my back bumper! Crash picked me up and wound me off the end! ;D ;D ;D The races that followed during that night and for the next few weeks were some of the most fun I have ever had smashing and bashing ON TARMAC!! and everyone having a good laugh about it ;D ;D. I would always be keen for a full contact (only in race direction hitting) Road Course or oval race/s. A muck around evening/race day. The good ol Aussy heat days where I never ever won a race even lead right up to the last lap before cooking it ;D.

Well, we had some really great fun full contact road racing on New Years event ;D Especially the HMC races and Becancour and Vancouver were not just door banging, but full contact sport HMC mod is perfect for that kind of racing
