I'm not a fan of ANY of the COT mods for NR2003.Now the trucks made by Team Omega and SimThunder....that is another story. We at The Mod Squad have a connection there with those folks. Why not use Blaxman's COT Platinum mod...or the upcoming COT Generation 2? We may even have the cts09 mod from NR2003 in Heat...

maybe the nhrl will switch to that truck mod! looks nice if thats heat. if not well still looks cool I put the trucks in Heat...but will send them off soon to Blaxman to make them COT G2 ready. We made a deal with Team Omega a year or two ago....that they could use our truck models at The Mod Squad for their NR2003 mod....so long as we could put them back into Heat later on when they were done. They are done now...and I even went back and made sure it was ok with them on our deal...and all is good. But as Dave says....I doubt NHRL will switch to anything new. They are stuck in the hippie era like the 60's...LOL.

well they are used to things that work. And why switch for just 8 races? Our cup mod (bovers) compares to blaxmans actually. Both similar except bovers is much more compact and simpler to use while blaxman has basically created a whole new era of heat. Both very good. I prefer bovers cuz it doesnt take up a ton of room though i do have blaxmans.

Well if you run the 8 mini series every year in the off season, or in the old days a 20 or 30 scheduled race series, hmm maybe to have up to date models,. and cts trucks that are actually being raced in the Craftsman Truck Series..

All mods work if you know what you are doing. But Bover's mod is ok...although as I said...I wasn't a fan of any of the NR2003 COT models (which I think is what he used....I think the single model from Dan Nisbet)...so if I wanted to drive a Toyota...I'd have to take a generic looking model...instead of one which is modeled a little bit more correctly.I'm not saying his mod is "bad" at all though....just not what I'd prefer. But honestly...Sprint Cup cars (and most Sprint Cup drivers) don't appeal to me much anymore.I can't stand some of these kids they have driving now that all they know how to do is wreck (Almendinger, Sorenson, McDowell, Hornish..etc).It's not a man's sport anymore....it's a sport for boys now. I'm more partial to trucks...since the racing is much better...and alot less boring. But as far as what Blaxman has done with the COT....he also made track texture updates to go along with his mod(s)...plus AI, setups, damage..etc. But that is one thing we've tried to do at The Mod Squad with mods....is to have a complete package. Not everyone races online...I'd say maybe 10%...if that....so we can't just go make something that caters to one certain league...and probably never will.
