Lost positions at start to cookie and Dave, but when 2 laps on cookie was too fast in chicane got back to 3. Tried to work off the 7 sec gap on Harding and got it down to 4 secs at pitstops.... only to face 10 secs when I left pits I didn't dare trying to make the race on one stop , I was hoping to make it with only 1 full service stop and another quick one. Additionally I was hoping to be superior in avoiding tracks pens as well. So still everything according to plan.... On exiting pits 2nd time I was surprised to find myself 4sec behind Harding. I had somehow expected to be 4 secs in front.... and got in that very same lap "low fuel" sign just after exiting chicane which made me have to go for another stop. . Seems Splash'n dash only works for one single lap at Monza. Idiot me should have checked fuel consumption in practice ;D

Was a lot of fun today! Really good turnout & no dnf`s according to my results txt.. Well done Harding & Karl for completing the podium! Well done to everyone else as well who participated. Karl I thought you had it all worked out. Was just preparing to do battle with you when you surprised me with the late pit. Shame you had to pit again, but you did well to hang on for 3rd. Harding drove well and kept the pressure on early. Cheers...

With all the racing I have had this week I had been practicing my heart off for everything else and completely forgot about SCGTS which saw me last night up until 2am getting in 30-40mins practicing. I had gotten my birmingham setup and altered the gears. I still tweaked them this morning before the race (after getting 5 1/2hours sleep). I was very very surprised to get 2nd on the grid and I ended up grasping the feel of the track really well. Managing to clock in a 1.50.3 at one stage ;D. My pitting worked really well, the trick at Monza I clicked with pretty quickly was to slam the brakes on before you hit the slow down area, because if you hit the slow down at full pace it would lock all the wheels up and slow you lower than the pit speed limit then bring you up to it slowly. If you got it right it would slow you to pit speed and that's it. I managed to snag that pretty good .
