I think everyone here but you, knows that physics are in a physics.val Common sense says physics + physics.val = BINGO I have to wonder just how much you've read on this page: www.speedsims.net/tutorials/NH_physics_index.html How long is your attention span , the same as a firefly in a jar with no air? (= not very long) ?

Im saying I CANT FIND THE FILE WHERE THE PHYSICS ARE located (unless its the physcis.val then it has soem wierd coding) I do very well understand what you're asking. If you had read the tutorial you would already know it is physics.val and you would even know why its has "weird coding" and why it doesn't make much sense to work on the physics.val file directly. The ending VAL indicates its a compiled, binary file. Thus there's no use in loading it to a file editor. You either have to decompile the physics.val or you have to ask the car's author for the physics source text file in case you want to mess on the car's original physics.

Karl DOES understand what you're talking about and explained that in "plain" english.
As in little kids english it might make some sence to you! The physics ARE located in the "physics.val". That file has to be converted to "physics.txt" to edit it. When the file is converted the conversion ADDS "giberish" to the file. That "giberish" has to be filtered out of the file. This has to be done very carefull, because if you delete a line that is needed, the physics will cause NH to crash when you try to load the car ingame.

I just had a thought.... Karl, Does this forum allow for you to split this topic into another separate thread? When foghat asked his original question and all that, I don't think he intended for it to go as far as it has away from his questions. It might be better, if this thread can be split, so when foghat comes back, he doesn't have to read through all this and get lost. I believe foghat is an older gentleman, and us having fun with the kid here, might not be his type of entertainment. He usually doesn't post much, unless he has problems with something he can't figure out. So anyways, I'm sure foghat might appreciate his thread staying on topic for his questions.
