I am looking for an alternate way to tell if the car behind me is laping me or fighting for position. I have seen 3 colors on the track map. Green which is me. Yellow which is other cars. Kinda red or orange which I have no idea. Is there a color for cars that I lap or a lap down or the leader ? Any help would be appreciated because I have never raced LFS online before and was hoping that some of you regular racers could enlighten me. PEACE

In case the car next behind is red or even dark red, these are first in line to be lapped before you. Basically it's the same as with NHeat - you have to check both rear view mirror AND race order to figure which of the cars behind is fighting your position and which is up for lapping. In LFS you get an even better overview when checking the live map - but then the draw distance in the rear view mirror seems to be less than in Heat My suggestion is to put the live map view to a wheel button to enable it in the race if needed

Green = the persons own car. Yellow = cars in the same lap in front. Orange = cars in the same lap behind you. White = cars that have lapped you once or more Red = cars that have been lapped once or more by you In other words: If the car behind you on the trackmap is yellow, you're about to be lapped. If the car in front of you is yellow, direct opponent fighting for position. If the car behind you is orange, that's you direct opponent battling for position. If the car in front is orange, that car is about to be lapped by you. If the car in front is red, that car is about to be lapped again by you. If the car behind you is white, you're about to be lapped again by someone who already lapped you once or more. Like Cholerix said when you have lapped a car several times that car will turn to darker red. When you get lapped by someone for the first time that car will turn greyish/white, when that car lapped you a couple of times the color will turn more whiter. I hope this is clear enough Chris
