I am wanting to know if i can run two sets of NASCAR Heats,
reason why is because i want to run two servers on one computer!
Do i rename the mod i wish to run, and change the options cfg file for one of them and make it a different port number??

You will find the answers to that question in this thread. www.themodsquad.info/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=1879

It's not easy, and it doesn't happen overnight. It's a very long process, that not many people do. If your really interested best thing is to read up on some track tutorials to get you started. You can find a bunch of track tutorials to read up on at ffsracing.com

* is it possible to convert RFACTOR tracks to HEAT? If so how... As Dave already mentioned, its possible, but quite some work. And you'd have to used to the process and have some certain tools to do it. Best way to start is checking out the mentioned tutorials and simply start doing it - and if get stuck, ask known track makers for how to go on At least that's how I plan to do it when I'll start learning how to do tracks in Heat ;D * if i have my templates, i have painted them using photoshop, how do i put them in my mod? That's pretty easy. Save the file as uncompressed 24-bit TGA, convert it to TEX (using winrestools) and name the resulting file carXXX.tex, where XXX is a number not already used for any other car in the game. Put that carXXX.tex to your mod folder. Then open drivers.txt, copy a driver's entry and switch the copy's number to that XXX (remember, XXX here is meant as placeholder only). That's it, basically * i want to know how to edit the background(s) of the game, for example.. * How to open ui folder * How to open txt file * How to open CAR file Lucky you, there's an extended tutorial how to do such things: www.speedsims.net/tutorials/NH_modding_index.html

*Crack car file using WinREStools Wizard at themodsquad.info *open .txt files using Notepad *use 3dsmax or Zmodeler for tracks (3dsmax is much easier) - read guides at FFSRACING *good luck!!
