witha few more adjustments i can get a high 1:18.9 atm at a 1:19.035 anyone else in the 19s? I've hit 1.18's since last week. But I'll tell yea, it's NOT about being super fast. On road courses it's about having consistent lap times, being patient and using your head. Kinda what Karl said earlier, you keep going faster, all your gonna do is spin yourself out. Been there, done that so many times over the years. LOL. It's okay to be fast don't get me wrong, BUT I would take being consistent and have great tires under my ride any day of the week, then having to be able to pull one super fast lap, just to wipe myself out of the race. If you can keep steady lap times thru out the race heck of a lot better.. Food for thought!

Here's my setup, I'm a bit of a conservative racer so I average mid 1:25's with it. Fuel lasts about 15.5 laps, tire wear is almost even on all four tires. Gears could use more tweaking, still haven't found the sweet spot with them. Attachments:

I definitely can agree with that, I knew after the practices at Chatham i wouldn't be pulling fast laps, but I knew I could be consistent, and it would pay off. I think i could have been at least 5th or 4th, had i not had some contact after my pit stop. I think surfers will be the same way, I won't be racing there, but after some testing, I know that there could be some trouble/cheater penalties for some people. I bet the race will be fun, but as with chatham, the winner will be consistently fast, but most importantly, stay out of trouble.
