Anyone not wearing rain tires will trigger the 'cheatting messages'. Please, make sure you switched for the rain models before the race/practice sessions.  . |

Yes Rain Tires. open your Swiss Army Knife, to utilities, top selection is Swap utils. among those options the fourth down is [.car] swapper. select that and you should have 8 options two of those are rain tires. These are required for the race.

3: You get really fast lap times when you don't use the rain tires. That's because the rain models have a different physics from the normal road or oval cars.  Actually with the rain model cars you can pull into the low 140's, but I wouldn't recommend it, because all you will do is spin yourself out, and possibly ruin someone else's race. So IMHO slow and steady is the name of the game for this race... When I'm done creating/tweaking my own setup, I'll upload it on here for guys to download on here late Thursday or Friday evening... |
