Ran some laps last night, this is going to be a fun and challenging race..
The points battle between 1st and 2nd place is very close, positons 3rd-7th is also very tight! So most finishing positions of the series is up for grabs!! Should be a very exciting finish. ;D
Penalties handed out in the last round, are going to be slightly different from previous races so PLEASE take extra care in your driving and think TWICE before making a dangerous move on your opponent.
As some penalties only take effect on follow-up races, if neccessary penalties will be converted this way:
* "last gridplace start" equals a 15 sec penalty on the driver's race finishing time.
* "drive-through" equals a 30 sec penalty on the driver's race finishing time.
These convertions then will take effect for the race the penalties have been "rewarded" for. The neccessity of convertion is decided by race officials.
Good Luck everyone!

i think you mean 3rd to 8th i could jump straight to 3rd with a win and everyone else scoring low hmmm since both of us are starting in the back of the next race, shooting for a win, is going to be rather rough with this crowd, especially at this track.. If your shooting for a win I hope you do a lot of practicing, have the right pit strategy because your gonna need it! I'm hoping for a nice clean finish, with a lot of FUN battles.

i could still pass you mustangman but with a track so wide open, one hopes ppl race clean. I didn't see much action at Monteal. I was in front of it though. Still if you race clean in one place, you can in another. Pit strategy? hmmm, I don't think one stopper is going to happen. If you do make it happen, you'll probably end up regretting it.

There is more to pit strategy then just how many stops your going to make. Also I'm with you we have a nice wide track so it should be a nice clean race, with lots of passing opportunities. cya's next Saturday.. Out!

A fuel saving set compared to a fast set. hmmm, If it saves a stop it means that ur set mustnt be slower the 30 secs overall... when you have 2 stops... you´ll need to be 30 secs faster overall... Its going to be a tight race. Its an open track, a wide track. I hope to see lots of action on there. It´s going to be a fun race cheers, Triz

alright, I have a non-announcement announcement to make, I almost was going to miss this race.
I'm trying to finish up my BA this year, and I got a work study job, but they wanted me to work 11-3 PST on saturdays which is 2-6EST during LEAGUE RACES! lol, So emailed my boss, and got it worked out. So I hope league times stay similar in the future. lol
This has been a lot of fun. I'm not wanting it to end here.

it starts at 5pm EST for some short time i believe dave probably can elaborate for me.. ;D That's only for a week or so when North America and Europe change times in the fall. Then once both place's Europe and North America have both switched to winter hours, (and we all fall into sync) the races ARE at 4pm Eastern.
