Well after a long work of organizing, some skinning , etc, with my very busy schedule I finally found the time to put the mod together. It is not finished, and the UI screens are not complete either. But I would like everyone's opinions on the mod's physics. There is a PSD file in the install file for you to make your own skins.Please note this is still in the beta stage, if anyone makes sets skins etc send them in, I am making the carset a community as only 4 of these cars were raced in real life anyways. Nice car Some advice first though: - don't put in the Heat EXE to your install - it won't be used. - don't put in the *cvs files and options.cfg, neither Paint folder - Heat automatically generates all these when started first - and your options.cfg won't do well on other people's PC anyway about physics and from an academical point of view - front spoiler drag decreases by increasing angle and downforce ? Seems rather weird to me. - in 63 cars didn't have any front and/or rear spoilers/wings, so far as I recall - there's one dot too many on fuel_consumption parameter - I'd rather limit camber range; -10/10 is way off - same about the camber_peak All the rest looks good so far; have to check on the track next

The physics were made to spec of what I found, which wasnt alot considering there were only 4 of these orignally. So: -Camber -Wings -and some grip arent able to be calculated accurately fuel consumption is off because I forgot to edit it off of what the nascar cars originally used xD. edit: also Karl may want to add that UI.res back schreens need tp be 650x500 resolution, my screens are blurry from resizing 60 times until i found perfect match ehhee.
Feel free to submit cars, I will make a speedsims skin pack for whoever wants to be in the mod, here's the # list so far:

post what # you want, I want to make this orinetated around speedsims numbers, all current skins will be fillers if there arent enough spots claimed.

Doing a cockpit for example seems more important on the way to making this a working mod I'd suggest that you set a default install path in your installer script that is NOT default NHeat main folder. For some good reason it has been "traditionally" done this way with any and all mod up to now. The car doesn't have ANY wing/spoilers, so it might be a good idea to turn that parameters off in physics and have no such settings in UI garage

Well I tried downloading on 3 different systems, but I keep running into an error, stating only 10 downloads are allowed.
Error
This file is neither allocated to a Premium Account, and can therefore only be downloaded 10 times.
This limit is reached.
To download this file, the uploader either needs to upload the file again or first log in to his/her Premium Account and then upload the file again. The uploader just needs to click the delete link of the file to get further information.

You mentioned you could hardly find any specs on this car? I found the complete specs on this car within 10 minutes on the net.
You might also want to research the history a bit more. 5 cars were put into production NOT 4.
You have the fuel set at 22 gallons. When in fact it can hold 46 gallons.
Fuel consumption is 5 MPG.
Few other minor stuff is also incorrect in the physics, you might want to do a little bit more research and get the specs on the car first.
Also when sitting in the cockpit I feel like I'm sitting in the fog. Gauges don't work in the cockpit either.
Camber settings are way to high.
There are no wings for this car.
Most modders/ track builders when there creating a mod or a track send there mods to a few guys to test out, before releasing it to the heat community as a beta version. So they can get some feeback on it. Then they go back and recheck everything again. They don't do this 1 time they do it several times.
Now before you start focusing on painting cars and asking everyone what # they want. You SHOULD go in and fix the bugs first.
Then recheck, double check and Triple check everything in TESTING before releasing it.
