that was a pretty good practise for me and some others as well. times tumbled down well into the 1:12's (with a 1:11.537 once ). EARacing looks quite good so far. Overtaking is done with alot of patience here though, and people seem to have several different ways going into corners. Quite a few different racing lines. Going to be interesting Also the curbstones are quite high and bump up ur car if u hit them to much. It helps to stay as much on the black stuff as u can cheers, Triz

Since an update was done to the mod, and sets now handle a little bit differently. I just finished running some more laps offline, and added my own setup to the Shelby downloads page. The set can hit high 1.10's. Now remember you have to still tweak it to your own driving style... Every week I'll start uploading my setups so everyone has something to work with.. cya's on the track.

Was a very nice practice session last night, though Im also in the 13 group. At least I know what corners Im messing up (all of them), so there are lots of room for improvement!
Should be a fun race 1, and an hectic 2nd one ;D

Yesterday was the first day on BlackHawk Farms track for me in a very long time. But one thing to remember, it dosen't matter how fast you are on the track. Anyone can produce a super fast lap, it's about having consistant average lap times, and above all else, just go out there and have some fun!! cya

i was doing some practicing, I got much better, after some much needed changes. I still have work to do by what you guys have done so far. I also know that dave is right, if you run a good race, even if you aren't the fastest on the track, the positions usually just come to you. As for this video, I was practicing, and apparently the curbs, and the car don't get along.

Hi Smoke, If you check out on the screenie below it's near turn 5. Right where my car is sitting. It's not a hole but if you hit the curbing a certain way your car goes flying. Seems the curb is just a little high for these types of cars, right there.

Happens @ turn one too on the inside curb. Hit it earlier while practicing, didn't flip the car but got the right side airborne ;D. Also theres a penalty on the last turn for the outside of the turn, I can understand a penalty for the inside of the turn but there's no gain by going off the track on the outside line of the turn.

Seems the curb is just a little high for these types of cars, right there. yep, checked out the whole area, no holes. The high banking in some spots is 0.2 difference from inner to outer verts. Thats a significant rise, for that short of a distance. Like a mini ramp. ;D Below is the actual curb that was being replicated.
