Update 1.05 fixed a camber issue but as a sideeffect added too much grip to front tires, resulting in a tailhappy handling To fix this and a remaining issue with multiplayer screen, there's now update 1.10 available. This update makes the setups that come with the mod again match car/tracks Update is available here www.speedsims.net/Shelby.htmlYou can either unpack the update ZIP to the mod folder or get the updated full version from the site and install it over the old one. Win7 and Vista Users should first delete the private mod copy in the hidden VirtualStore folder on their system

can we please get one set of physics for the entire season?I know your a perfectionist but it gets annoying when the car feels different week by week

just downloading 1.10 i suspect we will be stable for a while; though i was finally getting a setup that i could get around Oulton Park with out scrapping too many wall, trees, guardrails, etc.

ok, I am usually pretty laid back on such things, I ain't in the League, etc. But if someone has invested over 7 months of their own personal time developing a Mod, then they take the time to administer a League, then they want to make a few more tweeks to improve it, then they have to take crap for doing that. You gotta be frickin kidding me!!

I was a bit ticked about it because I put in about an hour tweaking my setup yesterday, however I'm liking the update since I fiddled with my setup since the practice earlier and I'm running faster laps than before kinda off topic, Smoke how come you don't run the league races?

I'm with Smoke on this one.. Karl has busted his A$$ over the last 7 months to make a fantastic mod for all of us to race and to have fun with.. Now we find a small bug that needed fixing you guys are all going to whine about that.. That is freaking unbelievable. @ Spike tell me, does one hour of tweaking a set, really equal out to OVER 7 months of nights and weekends of creating a mod? Come on guys. If it were not for guys like Karl who invested 7 months of there own personal time, we wouldn't be having the fun that we have of RACING...

The car now is back to the handling it was intended to have - and which it had at Aida. And which are all the setups for that come shipped with the mod. The original 1.0, and now 1.10 handling is MUCH easier to setup for any track and get used to. Furthermore by using the setups that are already available, you have a way easier starting point for any track in the series
The tailhappy handling the car had at Blackhawk Farms was an unexpected, and for sure unwanted sideeffect of previous fix. It doesn't make sense to run a full series with a car that doesn't at all act like it's supposed to do, just because some people feel they have already adapted to that rather unrealistic car handling.

And that is in the end what we all want. A realistic physics model Thnx for the update Karl. It's well before the next race so this should not be a problem at all. Also the previous update before BlackHawk farms was a good effort. Eventhough a bit shorter before the race still plenty of time to adapt to the changes. I dont see why people should complaint at all since this effort is masterfully well done. (even if, lets say the update was 3 days before race day, its not done to complain about it in praccy before the race) The mod is supposed to be close to perfection, thats what we all want, if this update helps to get it that way, then noone should complain. I already made a set for Oulton park for version 1.0. does this mean that this set is now going to work for 1.10 or do you expect some slight tweaking that is required? cheers, Triz

I have done test runs with 1.0 setups for Blackhawk Farms and Aida, and they worked perfectly with 1.10 version. You may wanna check on camber/tire pressure, as that's where the bug with 1.0 was, but all else should be fine

I noticed one thing with the update, Tire temps are down ;D woohoo. Before the update the other day I ran 20 laps and the temps were @170's average maxing out in the 200's. With the update they're maxing out in the 170s and averaging 140-150's.

well all i was getting at is it would have been better to schedule it in specialy after i ran all those practice laps I doa ppreciate the better physics but i just hope they dont change again. Sorry if I sounded ungrateful not my intent at all I just dont want to see more changes race by race which will make you learn a new car essentialy.
