Dave that stuff really looks great! can't wait to see your idea come to fruition. You'll find it very gratifying when the first big even with your mod kicks off!
As for thanksgiving. I'll take the Turkey, Thank You very much! Not to toot my own horn, but it isn't "a dry, bland turkey" if you cook it right! ;D

You're doing some great work, and I'm looking forward to this mod! One car I would love to see in this type of mod would be the Ford Mk IV. Hardly see this model in any racing sim. Hopefully it will make it someday.

Hopefully it will make it someday. Thanks for the kind words about my mod. We will be having addon's to the SCP mod down the road. Just right now my plate is full with stuff. That's a very cool car in your picture. Do you by any chance have the specs on it? Meaning the engine specs for it, and more pictures of front, rear, and top views? Dave

Dave, I appreciate how busy you are and how much work you are doing, and its all pretty amazing when I concider how much of your free time you are devoting to our hobby. But I think that even when you are concidering to design something like this, I really can't say how much it would mean to see this car in this sim. So a big thank you, for nothing else but taking a moment to look into it. That's a malor victory in itself! I have a bit of info I'm getting together to show you, be back with it shortly!
Regards, eddie01

There is some great info on the Mk IV at this page, in fact they have some of the best info and pics on just about any car ever made there! Compare my older pic of the interior as compared to the rebuilt version on this page. Just a little differenve I would say,lol www.ultimatecarpage.com/car/3406/Ford-Mk-IV.html

Well, as some of you are probably aware of, I'm a Ford nut when it comes to cars! Thanks Carlos and Eddie for all the information, let's see what we can do in the coming months to get this car into heat. ;D Mind you, something like this won't happen, for several months. Have 1 project that's ahead of this one, before any add on's can be started on the SCP mod. In the mean time, Eddie or Carlos, if you guys can get your hands on several resource pictures of this car it would be much appreciated. Different views especially. And also how about a list of different drivers that raced this car, during that era. If possible pic's of those cars also. So they can be used for reference to paint the cars. This would save me a few hours of research down the line.. Just send them to me via private messages here on the forum... Thanks guys! Dave

The scope of the project is a Lemans style 3 car mod. Which kinda remind me of Group C cars. (Fast cars ;D) To consist of Ferrari 512M, Porsche 917K and Lola. Ok, I know this is almost a year old post, but you mention the cars, so I troll wikipedia for the ferrari, and the porsche, but what model is the lola? If you want to wait to reveal, that's fine, I was just curious.

Well, as probably most of you are well aware of, during the past several months things have changed around SpeedSims, since that post was first made, with the inner workings of SpeedSims and also with the development of Mods. We will be releasing a couple neat things in the next few months. First out will be the SCP mod with the Porsche 917K and Ferrari 512M to be released VERY SOON!! ;D Next up: Is Cholerix 's GT1's... Karl has given me permission to finish his GT1's.. He's a very good friend of mine, so I would very much like to finish these beauty's for him. The first 4 cars to be released early next year, around Feb. Porsche 911 GT1 McLaren F1 GTR LM Lister Storm GTL Lotus Elise GT1 Which I've been working in tandem with the SCP mod lately. Then after that we will be swinging back into action in bringing two more cars to SCP, the Ford you see a few posts above, and the Lola you are asking about is this one. ;D Lola T70 Mk3B Oh yes, and also the other two cars, Mercedes CLK GTR and the Panoz GTR1 I also want to bring those cars to life also in heat this year also. So in essence will be having new mods, new addon's for SCGTS and also SCP thru 2012.

These pictures show you what can go wrong when driving down the center of the road at 180 mph and meet the road painter guy putting down the double yellow stripes. ;D
