Enduro races are cool in lfs - T thingy lol, T=take control...practice a take before the race boys and be aware that there are some things that can be varied between driver setups but not many and those need to be set by the incoming driver as you race down the road (unless you can do it before the end of pit lane) - you'll need time to come to a compromised setup you both can drive consistantly (consistancy is better than 1 or 2 really hot laps when you're going 3 hrs or more) I used to love the FXR but find it big and heavy now and way too forgiving but dad and I may join - simply as a race team, not admins - depending on scheduling ( [BSr]acing ) You could use my server if ya like, I'll add a PW so only those registered can access it...that PW is different than the admin PW so only admins have race control. What do you mean by ID setups? Will you use a random start or a qualify? Run a pre race to determine handicaps? BTW why wuss out at 3hrs? ;D why not try 16hrs: www.lfsforum.net/showthread.php?t=55857...Aston North Reversed with the GT1, GT2 and NGT Cars. The registration will be open in June, so there will be more information then...

Sounds fine and I'd be interested in joining, depending on scheduling.
AS3 could be a good choice: not too hard, wide, fast and since a spread field is predictable, lots of places to pass.
Multiclass maybe? I'd choose road cars btw...
LX4 + TBO works great and you have plenty of flavours to choose from: 4WD, FWD, RWD...

Well 16 hours is too long... i cant race 8 hours and switch with my bro because i have other leagues i race in and stuff.
So... so far:
1. Last Lap Motorsports: Bmxtwins, Mustangman759 2. BSracing: KSheppard, Clare B Sheppard 3. BurnOut69... wanna race alone?
every driver would need a teammate if possible. I was thinking a 5 race schedule maybe ...
Random start because 3 hours is plenty of time to spread out and determine who is quicker.
I will upload the set. Ive done tests with it and it should work for all tracks.
i need dates guys its all up to you... i was thinking possibly sunday 3pm est?
IDentical Setups... ill post it.. very driveable... dave made it. Should work for all tracks we will be doing.
Westhill, Ashton , and the rest you all could suggest.
Dave would ya mind throwing a server up when we get this sorted?
Oh, and how do i offer a take car to my teammate? I get the NAME list up and click T? and he will be able to click the green T next pitstop when it is in the pit stop finished stage?

I'm with Burn for the time being, you can keep me on the list but until I know the dates I can't commit 100% You're suggesting 1 setup for all the tracks?? I'm at work and dont have a lot of time but I took a quick look in the manual en.lfsmanual.net/wiki/Main_Page and didn't find it...just test with a buddy, you have it basically right you request the take, he pits, switches automatically at the end of the pit.

BMX, How could one of my setups be used for all tracks? I can't drive all LFS tracks with one setup.. For LFS you might want to talk to someone else about setups for LFS I'm not a pro at this sim.

Ok well there is a website that has good setups.
Kevin let me know what times and dates ar good for you.
Car: FXR Length: TBA Tracks:TBD POINTS: you guys want this? team points obviously... every team gets the amount of points for the POS they finish... least amount of points at end of series is winner.
Sub drivers will be alowed if a driver cannot make it... if there is no sub 1 driver may drive for the whole team.
The reason only 3 hours is because it is alot to drive 4 hours by yourself.

Don't work the sched around me - I won't make all the races anyway...I'm avail. every second weekend starting with this one. What time will we be starting?
Will you mandate driver switches or could a driver go the 3 hrs alone? Max team size? Points are good - team, individual , maybe country? What about incidents / appeals? I'd prefer to make my own setups.

Why only FXR ? There's 3 more GTR type cars in LFS. With adding weight handicaps to certain car types should be no problem to have equally competitive cars. And info about how much weight to add to what car type will most likely be available on the net. Same setup to different tracks doesn't make much sense with these cars. A setup that's fine on one track may cause a most delicate handling on next. btw.. race length in LFS can be set to TIME or LAP. So by saying race length = 3h for example, you're fine

Will you mandate driver switches or could a driver go the 3 hrs alone? Max team size? Points are good - team, individual , maybe country? What about incidents / appeals? I'd prefer to make my own setups. Ok NO MORE ID SETS. Max team size 3. Minimum 1. Points? just stick to team. Unless each team is gonna run 2 cars... then we could lower race time to 2 hours? but i like the idea of switching with a teammate. Ok so the dates... I was thinking EITHER sunday from 2pm-5pm (total) or FRIDAY 3pm-6pm (EASTERN STANDARD TIME) How would it be balanced if we run all 3 GTR cars? im not against it but the FZR is faster than the FXR if im not mistaken. I was thinking stay FXR because there are prob not going to be that many drivers/teams. So here is what we have so far: 1. Length 3 hours 2. Car= FXR... or other GTR's 3.Tracks: ABOVE POSTED BY MUSTANG 4. ANY SETUP ALLOWED 5.a server... 6. Days: ABOVE 7. random grid 8. appeals will be looked at but we will need specifics. give me a picture of where it is on the time line so im not watching 3 hours of film. 9.points will be on a golf like system. EX: 1st place: 1 point 2nd:2 etc... team with lowest points at end of series is winner. But any1 have an idea about how to even out the gtr classes. Or we could all just stick to fxr if the majority agrees. So options: FXR only ALL gtrs (fxr, fzr and XRGTR (not sure of abreviation.) www.lfs.net/?page=contentsbut they are the lower middle 3 in a triangle in S2 section
