So it looks like we'll be getting the track in the next patch, as it has been already used in track side promotion in the last BTCC race. Soooo: - Scirocco - Rockingham - New tyres model - etc Looking pretty damn good

Well yeah, Im not aware of any other Rockingham Actually it makes a lot of sense considering both the track and the LFS team are Britain-based, and the fact that adding it adds both a road course AND an oval I had already heard rumours about this a long time ago, so chances are that it is very true, cant wait! ;D

mmmhmm, believe it when i see it, bet there's no date given? and really so what if it has been dated, have they ever made a deadline yet? dont get me wrong i'm all for the development but as i've stated in another lfs forum post, i need to get myself a job like them where i can miss deadline and have people defend me! maybe if they got paid by the update they'd do more of what we want

"One important thing we must mention is that to access Rockingham in LFS, users will need an S3 license."oh, just great That's that extra payment to the devs Kev was mentioning... Well, the good thing is that finally there seems to be an S3 version. After just how many years of patching S2 and no new tracks at all ? But they better put in more than just one additional track to make make people really wanna pay for that S3 license. IMO the lack of tracks is the one thing that really spoils the longtime fun in LFS

Well it most probably will be another 12 pounds. If it works like S2 where we have got 4 years of free updates, I'll be more than happy to pay them that The same guy that told me about rockingham a few months ago also told me there might be the new car coming might be an audi.

and the VW includes new tyre physics....does that = S3? What about rain, night...? Rain ? You don't really wanna race in rain, do you ? That would be tip-toeing for all the race... and probably a certain lack of opponents, as usually numbers drop drastically by increasing difficulty I'd rather would like to see additional highpowered race cars.s Some LMPs or GT1 cars for example. There's a notable lack of anything alike in LFS yet

S3 has to start somewhere, that doesnt mean ALL wanted features will be there from the start. My bet is that rain and night are still several years away...
Scawen just said that S3 upgrade may only mean one track and one car, and that we get no guarantees of additional content, meaning he could pull the plug next day S3 is released.

Considering EVERY town in Europe has a clone in the US, and that 90% of the towns in the US also have an oval track, whenever referring to US ovals you have to use the full name Rockingham in the speedsims context is UK rockingham, a classic for many of us: www.speedsims.net/archive/reports/DTM9/RockReport_1.htmlWohoo I even won a few times back in the days ;D
