Well, I will definitely show up, but I agree with many of the above posts in that general SpeedSims rules have proven to work very well, I see no need for special checking

Too many rules and no one will show up to race. Yeah... that's one of the main reasons for people give up some leagues. Not because they want to cheat or shortcut, but because some might conclude they are somehow unable to drive like the rules requires. They tend to think 'well, that's not really my thing".... I saw that happen! Remember an old discussion on TSR and how some old trackmakers ruined the fun of racing by adding so many (and so close to the track) traps that made races a source of stress instead of fun. .

Remember an old discussion on TSR and how some old trackmakers ruined the fun of racing by adding so many (and so close to the track) traps that made races a source of stress instead of fun. . Oh yeah... and remember how adamant I was about that too? ;D Even for us offliners, having penalties so close to the track and having sand pits so close that if your car gets stuck, another car could come along and wreck into you... it just hurt the fun factor. I like the way TheMask started doing them when he was still making tracks... and how smoke does his now. I'm hoping one day we can get some updated versions of the old tracks with the new ways of doing them implemented. A new Road Atlanta and Lime Rock would probably be at the top of my list of ones to see redone first.

adding 1 sec manually if you cut a corner or run wide at a S-track?
For your information, the S-track already covers that, like urcdoh already said. No difference for Mosport, if you run wide or cut a corner you'll get a 2 sec penalty or you'll catch a sputter trap.
adding time didn't work in the past and won't work in the future. Best thing that works is when someone consistently cut's the same corner he gets penalized with a drive thru for the next race, if it happens to be the last race of the season then dropping him a few places in the results works best.
