I'm seeing a big communication barrier "Location: China" He's from Germany. Not really a language barrier. He lives in China, more of a timezone barrier of being able to get online to help him out. I'm trying man, it's just a slow process when we are over 14 hours time difference and etc.

Hello SpeedsimS guys, It looks like nh will run on my computer from the next week on, too. Dave will help me and we have allready a date. Well we finally found some time tonight, and I remotely went into Steve's machine and installed NH Essentials and Group C mod and a couple of tracks. Welcome Steve to Nascar Heat Finally!! Any questions in the future about installs or any types of problems just send me a pm here on the forums.. See you on the track for some racing real soon!! Also stop by Nascar Heats main community web site. The Mod Squad. www.Themodsquad.info Steve, When you sign up at The Mod Squad, let me know here also... and especially the username you use to sign up with. I can approve you much easier that way. Being that you are in China, we typically see lots of spammer IP's coming from there, and those are not easily approved at our site. So just drop me a note here letting me know, and you'll be approved. We went to admin approval for our site a few years ago, due to unforeseen problems, so we now manually approve each user who signs up. Usually it takes less than 24 hours to be approved, but if I know who you are ahead of time, I don't have to go checking, so it can be done even quicker.

A especially "Thank you" to Dave. He spend his spare private time to enter my computer via Teamviewr to help me installing nh. I only have to look what he is doing. So I could remember, as I was installing it itself, have done nothing other, but my install failed, Dave's not. The problem must be pointed in the German speaking system and its German language folders, I guess. After Dave was ready he congratulation me to enter Nascar Heat. Many thanks to you, Dave But still I couldn't drive because the sound system wasn't running. Have to fix it later. I let it runn a wile, was busy on the old computer creating a season for WSC70 for rf, as I get shocked: The new computer shot down with a blue screen, stop error! It looks for much work to do today. Could fix the system error, fix the sound driver, and ready it was. So I'll start at first with the Group C to get comfortable to the game machine, cars and tracks. Install more mods and tracks later, especially the Sportscar Prototype mod. Which tracks are you will use for the Sportscars next? If you planning a season, where can I find a list of events dates and times, used tracks and all I have to know? Looking forward to meet you all on track soon. Like I have seen in SpeedSims Forum, all of you are friendly guys with a lot fun in racing. So I feel I get the place to stay. Cheers from China Steve

Hello raybee1970,
Thank you for invading me to The Mod Squad. Yes, I also will register there in a few days. Will let you know it here in a pn to you.
The spammer ID’s from China are big problems. I know it but don’t know, how to kill them. Often, I open firefox, some Chinese page pop up instead the firefox starting page. The firefox is blank. Also this Chinese page offers me to download some program. I always kick it off!! Till now for me the only way.
When I sign up to The Mod Squad, I will use the same name like here. But sure, send you a pn. And the manually approve for a new user signed in to The Mod Squad, I guess it is the more safely way to keep your page clean.
Hi Admin,
Thanks for your answer. So I look forward you offer the next Multy Mod Series.
btw. Here in China many pages (you tube, twitter, facebook, ..) are off limits. So I couldn't enter my account on google picasa anymore. Picasa would be the place to upload many pictures and download my avatar via Url or offer you some Link to watch some pictures. But it is past time. Will it give another way to get a picture or Giff into my avatar?
Steve

Hi Triz, Yes, NH is working fine now. Also I can drive with the wheel on both computer using an usb-switcher. It's not easy to get this in China. We must check out at Hong Kong for it. The first laps where a disaster in the Group C Sauber. I was testing LM-track at first, because I'm used to this track. All others could overtaking me on the long straight. So I enter the pit and open the garage, pull down the wings for more speed. I guess it was to much, because the engine blows after one kilometer on the high speed straight. But it is wintertime and so the heat was welcome to me Still getting some small problems, but have asked Dave for help allready. I'm not in a hurry. Was waiting long time to get NH running. What the matter will be some days more? See you soon. Steve

For just starting out to learn how to drive these cars the easiest one's to drive for a beginner are Jaguar and Toyota, plus you need to have a ton of patience also at first. But once you get the feel for these cars you will love it!! Hopefully you get your sound fixed for you computer soon.. Will be finishing up with current series on March 3rd. So after that we will be annoucning some very exciting series after that, and you will see the server getting real busy with guys wanting to practice lots of different mods plus the Group C mod. In a few weeks you will have guys online to help you out also.. So between now and then, take your time and just get comfortable with the cars. Dave

Hey Dave,
Beasts? Group C cars are beasts? Yes, they are. But till now you never drove the 917 or the 512 Beasts on rf. Do you feel my time on LM track 67 with 3:21.198 is a game? Do you think, rf do not have Beasts? Try it and tell me your results.
Those cars haven't any downforce, any grip. Those cars are made for speed, not for cornering. Try rf with the WSC70 mod, try to kill my 6th place in the real starting grid on the Spa course 67.
Beasts, riding Beasts? I feel to explain you some of my past. I tell you, I was born 59. When I was 16 of age I was driving the 50cc motorbike it is allowed to drive in Germany. When I get the age 18 and get the license to ride big bikes, the first was a Yamaha 400cc 2-cycle engine. No 750cc Honda four could beat my Yamaha 400.
But this bike get many engine problems so I buy a 650cc Kawasaki.
One year later I force the engine to 850cc, double overhead chuckle and around 110 horse power. In this time, the fastest bike was the 900cc Kawasaki. No problems to beat them with my 650 (850).
1981 I sell the 650 (850) Kawasaki over wintertime and buy a 1000cc Z Kawasaki in the early spring time. Buy a full framed windshield, buy a seat it placed me more deeper inside the machine. And I forced the engine from 1000cc to 1135cc with the french Goodyear Genaud parts what give me a bigger engine with 4 plug valve each cylinder (before only 2). The horse power changed from former 98 to 135. Change the front fork to more air pressure, buy new rear shocks using oil and air. Buy a new swing for the rear (it was called "superbike" swing for using a 160mm rear tire). All this was getting my bike stable, usable fast in each situation.
My setup was hard and strong on the bike. Could drive fast on normally street track, could cornering deep with the normally street tires, and on the Highways with high speed on the straight also open corners. Bumpers in the track in cornering let my bike not jump out side or waggly in the frame. The tires glue on track, the bike was stable in the direction I point it.
Nowadays, the Kawasaki 1400cc get 209 horse power. But remember, my 1135cc, it was in 1981. Did you ever ride a bike like this till the bike give you its speed limit with 275 km/h.
Riding beasts, ...? Could be dangerous in live time, but it was funny I have done when I was young. Nowadays, in remembering, I must say: I was crazy! Drive my bike to its limits on open streets.
But I was used to racing courses too. Hockenheim, the old German track, the long track, some guys like to win a race there against me (my friends opened that race). There it was a fast biker with other friends. It was the fastest they could think about. This guy get me into a five lap race on Hockenheim old track. The winner gets 2 packs of beer, the looser pay the beer and the costs for using the track for both. I give my ok for it, go 3 laps behind him, studying his riding, beat him in the corner to the finish straight and stop after 4 laps because he was much behind me. So, after he was driving the full 5 laps and entering the pits, he was telling me the looser, cause I do not drive the full 5 laps.
His friends call him the looser, cause, he was much behind me after I finished my 4th lap and enter the pits. For what I should drive one lap more? After I overtaking him inside his line and open my gas, I couldn't see him in my mirror anymore. He wasn't happy, but his friends call him to pay the price.
Dave, you tells me you where often at Germany. Did you ever drive a car on German's highways more than 220km/h? Could you smoke a cigarette, holding in your right hand, driving the car only with your left in that speed?
When I was young and used to drive a bike strong, I was dreaming to enter the racing. But my mother tells me: Better you learn some usefully job. And, my mother don't get the money we need for racing.
I have learned the usefully job, it give me the small money to take my staying. The fun I get in private in riding my Kawasaki beast.
So I guess one thing: Riding beasts in NH or in rf will not much different. Ok, the game engine will give you a different feeling. But, beast is beast!
And so I invade all of you to ride the CSGT WSC70 mod rf beast's with me. I put together a season with 17 tracks. Starting in USA, hoover to Europe, drive Fuji 70s track and enter Australia with 3 tracks at last.
And, we will see us soon on track in Dave's mod. Blowing my Sauber engine in Group C, it is normally you drive and have no sound. But now my sound is ok, after changing the front panel hardware. After tomorrow I get my 32" screen pluged in the new machine.
Than we get it on. Steve

Do you think, rf do not have Beasts? Try it and tell me your results. Wow I feel like your trash talking at me about racing. ;D Your talking trash to the wrong guy when it comes to racing. LOL First of all we do not race Rfactor here, 2nd, we mod and race Nascar Heat. Plus, yeah I've driven all of Group C cars, and SCP 917 and 512 cars.. Nobody said anything about Rfactor mate, we are talking about Nascar Heat. Now can I hit great lap times in Group C. ummmm guess you don't know me that well. But YES I can haul ass in Group C cars, ask anyone. I told you something in private. I don't like talking about my personal life on the forums. Sorry... Sorry but we don't do Rfactor here, we mod and race Nascar Heat. All I did was give you some helpful hint's to get you going with the Group C mod, so you could get use to the mod and Nascar Heat. But anytime you wanna take a crack at beating me or racing me in Group C bring it on man. Cuz I'm telling yea I can hold my own in the Group C mod. I think this is the first I've ever been trashed talk too, since I started racing. My normal way of doing it is, I let my driving do my talking for me.End of discussion..
