This question may seem pointless, but for those who have done group C several times, I'm sure each car has its advantages and disadvantages, I've seen most people lean towards Porsche, but Crash kicks butt in the March. After testing all the cars at Watkins glen, with the setups on the website, I've seen the Jag perform the best, at least for me. I think we should be varied, but at the same time, an idea of what car does what. Perhaps trial and error would be best. but opinions would be nice as well.

AFAIK, Porsche = balance Sauber / Nissan = top speed + fuel consumption Jaguar / March = handling Lancia = acceleration + insane tailhappyness, at least for me Not sure about the Ford or the Vette since I havent driven them properly... BTW did I miss something, why are you talking about being varied? I know no scheduled Group C events...

This is a direct quote from the mod author Karl. ;D
One suggestion about chosen car to those who have not run in a GroupC race before:
Jaguar and Toyota are easiest to drive and thus beginner's best choice
Sauber and Lancia are fastest - and most brutal rides. NOT recommended choice for beginners unless you are a very skilled and focused racer. That case they can be outstanding fun ;D
The other car types are somewhat in between and all have their specific advantages and/or disadvantages. You won't get any advantage with your car choice. Jaguar for example turns best, Lancia accelerates best, Sauber reaches highest topspeed. But in total all the cars are equally competitive in road racing. If you are

Crash can kick's a$$ in any Group C car that man drives ;D For me I love the March, it takes to track, and responds exactly the way I want it. Anytime I've raced a Group C race does not matter if I come in first or last place I walk away with a smile on my face, and totally exhausted and with such an adrenaline rush. Group C is still one of my all time favorite mods even after all these years!! ;D
