btw... biggest task on my plate still is adding GT1 cars to SCGTS mod What would be the list? If I recall correctly, in SCGT there were: - McLaren F1 - Porsche GT1 - Lister Storm - Callaway C12 - Mercedes CLK-GTR Full jackpot? ;D

Be happy to help with those, have been doing some prelim work already but will be happy to submit things for your approval, since it is very much "your" mod. Humbly I stand in the shadow cast by your light. My head is at thy feet, and I am but dust...

Set-list (blueprints, tech info, photos available):
- McLaren F1 GTR - Porsche GT1 - Panoz GTR-1 - Mercedes CLK-GTR
maybe-list (too little info about cars, no blueprints etc): - Lister Storm - Callaway C12
Most likely, though not in original SCGT is - Lotus Elise
No-way list is - Mosler Raptor - Panoz Q9

Humbly I stand in the shadow cast by your light. My head is at thy feet, and I am but dust... LOL ;D Biggest problem here is to get the right mood for starting. I've put some vertices here and some there to the Mercedes already, but it doesn't really come along. It would, however, within a couple of days, once I am the right mood to addict myself to the task. But that's nothing that I am able to do by command. Unfortunatly. Maybe I should try doing by drugs ;D Was the same with the GT2 and GT3 cars. Did take almost 6 months for a rough BMW sketch... and then only just 2 weeks to get the Porsche done.

I like making cars, NOT so keen on making thingypits for them, hehehe, same here too ;D Though at least I think I have found a way to get the interieur done in some structural way. Still nothing that makes too much fun, but the outcome looks somewhat ok to me. And I guess I am not easy to convince about things being ok

let me just say that your interiors in the SCGT mod are better than just okay, they are good! DAMNED GOOD! Mine tend to be basic and awful, I will race with just a 2x4 plank and some numbers on dials .. I am crude and un-worthy but also have my eyes out on stalks like snail man, outside the cockpit. This may not suit everyone however and I do SO love the beautiful thingypits in SCGTS!
say, has anyone but me noticed that you can't say Charlie Oscar Charlie Kilo on this forum? Faaaark....

Well you guys are right. We should start small and the best way would be SCGTS GT1 cars. I love to help Cholerix with it. Send me the Porsche GT1 Info you have and will start with it. But there are great and good even better mods as the original game build by a big community. This is a great example. 1966gpl.speedgeezers.net/And they made a 69 mod too. Those guys are currently working on a complete(really complete)Targa Florio track. forum.racesimcentral.com/showthread.php?t=305569And those guys work long on it. Maybe it has to do with the fact that GPL is so hard to edit,i don't know but this let me believe that it is possible, you only need to believe in the project.

You guys are the ones with the experience and I can see what you mean some projects end up taking forever or not happening at all. You mentions new ui.res file for the idea of GT1 cars added now I am not much of an artist with photoshop but I have GIMP for tweaking and possibly Richie's help with the aid of Cholerix's mod tut I'm sure that couldn't be beyond us NZ'ers.

Look Familiar? this is wearing the crappy old paint from SCGT, they were little bitmaps that aren't too great when scaled up, I have to do a proper bitmap in 1024 of this coloring. The template is done, still to do the cockpit and the LOD models from this. But, its getting there! havent had as much time as I thought to work on this Bubba

Good news! I have sent cholerix the files for this and he will be putting the finishing touches on it! And a better job will be done of it than I could manage at the moment, especially the cockpit
thanks cholerix!
you the man!
