After all the years I've messed about with Nheat, I should know the answer to this, and I don't. Or, I've forgotten it.
What setup do the AI cars use? I mean, I know how to make a .gcf file etc, but do they use the setup (name) I used when I made it? Or something else? Or, is it one of Nheats great unponderables?

Bubba Are you talking abou the ai.gar?? If that's what your talking about, AIs read from a GCF file, the setup that they use is packed into GCF

By default AI cars load what setup is stored with the track. This will be overrun by Heat if there's any track specific GCF file in either ghostcar.res or mod_ghostcar.res or if there's some trackname.gcf in mod folder.

Ah, okay, so they are reading what setup I used from the trackname.gcf file that I made and put in the mod folder. Good, that makes sense. thanks! Bubba
