First you are talking about 3 different operating systems, windows 7, vista and Windows 8, which if I remember correctly has not been released to the general public yet, except for in beta. So if you can tell us exactly what operating system you are using that would be great. Also do you have Nascar Heat the original version, or Heat Essentials or Heat Essentials 2? Plus would be great if you posted your computers specs..

There are no general issues with Speed, Performance or Quality with Heat on Windows Vista, 7 or the releases of Windows 8 (CP & RP) so we will definitely need more info as Dave stated. Including why you tried 3 os's (hopefully your not trying to run any game in a VM).

I think you and Duster posted at about the same time. @ Kidx, Like Duster mentioned make sure your not running the game off of virtual memory. If that's the case that might be your problem. Because with the computer specs you have, you should be fine to run Nascar Heat.

If your talking about on the graphics page, yes its normal for it to not recognize new processors, but it is not relevant only informational. It could be you changed or have a setting that is causing your issue here is one of mine... Let is know if its working or not! Good Luck Attachments:

Looks like you need to try some different video card drivers.

Yeah, different video card drivers should help a bunch. But as I tell folks at other sites, don't always assume the "newest" drivers are going to be the best drivers for a video card. You may have to go through several of them, especially if you run other games besides Heat... to find one that will work best with everything you want to run. Being on XP, you may just want to start with the drivers that came with the card first, then gradually go up to newer drivers from that set until you find a good set that suits everything you use. Don't jump right to the very newest drivers right away. Newer doesn't always mean better.
