just a question please for the needles of cars

That can't be for Nascar Heat, can it?

I don't recognize the little "3" thing in the middle of the windshield, nor seeing both the side mirror, and rear view mirror both working and being in different spots.

For Heat though, the needles use dummy helpers that have to be placed exactly to the center of the gauge, and a little tiny bit away from it (toward the driver by a hair) and it will then call up the needle.mod

Same goes with the other needles - since there are actually 2, one big one for the tach (needle.mod), one smaller one for other gauges (needle2.mod)

And those dummy helpers you place in them will call up the .mod file you assign to it.

You can open up other high0.mod files from other mods and see how those are done to get an idea, if it helps you.

But still... yours looks like it is for another game though. Looks excellent though, regardless. ;D

I sent an email to a friend of mine. Spindoctor. He mods GTR2 once in a while. He should be able to answer this question better then I can. We mainly mod the game Nascar Heat around here.

I don't know that much about making mods for GTR2, but if its anything like rFactor, this little bit might help:

I know a lot of the GTR2 mods use the MOTEC stuff instead of actual tachs and gauges... but maybe if you download the NASCAR mod for GTR2, which I would hope uses tachs and gauges, you may be able to look through their files and see how it was done by those guys and use it as a guide for your own:

It never can hurt to look at someone else's stuff to see how they do things if you get stuck.
