2012-13 NHRL CTS SeriesHello everyone, I'm posting here at SpeedSims to invite you to our next series. In a few weeks, the NASCAR Heat Racing League will be hosting its second series with the NHRL Truck Series mod. The series will include 12 races on Saturdays at 10:45 PM ET from October 6 to January 19. Last season, we had an exciting competition, with over ten drivers in the hunt for wins and the championship. The main fun, however, is in the diverse mix of drivers we get in each race. We expect more of the same this season. If interested, please head over to our website to register for the series. Or, feel free to post or email me a question. We hope to see you out on the track! -----

We had a great event at Talladega with 20+ drivers in the field. Hammer edged SpeedSims' own DaveO by just 0.004 seconds! We expect another thriller tonight at Watkins Glen.

Can Hammer be stopped? After winning his second in a row over a packed house at the Glen, racing resumes tonight at the tight confines of Martinsville.

I doubt he can be stopped the entire season. But for one night at Marty he was stopped. This win is dedicated to Mr. Inspector Gadget! (He knows who he is.)

I wasn't sure if Hammer could be stopped. Dave answered that question at Marty. Tonight we're heading south to the high speeds of Texas. We hope to see you there!

Count another win for SpeedSims' DaveO at Phoenix. Tonight, Dave has to be considered the favorite at New Hampshire. Can anyone knock him off his stride?

After a couple of poor results, Hammer scored an important win at New to halt a surging DaveO. Is this a statement or potential championship moment? The points battle is now down to 4. Tonight, in round 7 of 12, much will be at stake on the winding roads of IndyRC T.

What are you guys feeding Dave? He came out ready to rock at IndyRC with a 70-second victory over Mustangman. Expect the polar opposite tonight, where those circumstances will change in dramatic fashion. Yes, the NHRL is back at the close confines of Bristol!

LOL ;D you might want to check for hidden nitrous bottle ;D Oh, that's Raybee with helping to build some cars! He's a great crew chief! I took lessons from Maurice Petty and learned how to build oversized engines that can be used everywhere but Charlotte. They get kind of upset at Charlotte when you have a big engine....hahaha ;D

Dave applied that expertise, but toward other strategies, at Bristol and Las Vegas, defeating lepage71 with a combination of speed and smart fuel management. Both of these races continued the theme of close competition and battles right to the finish line. In fact, I ran out of fuel right in front of Dave on the last lap at Vegas! After a brief Holidays break, the NHRL CTS Series resumes on Saturday the 5th (10:45 PM ET). We'll be visiting the Milwaukee Mile, available for download here at SpeedSims. Registrations are open all season long so we hope to see even more new faces.
