Would this be a great addon for Heat. This came from the original GP4 game. But i mis the online races there. I won't convert this modell because of copyright reasons, just use it for testing. I'm working on other models.

Yup, another F1 mod would come nice Or GP4 or F3 That car doesn't even look very high poly, so I'd guess np Physics could be an issue though, as Nheat can be troublesome is car weight is very low (cars tend to flip then)

I know that problem about physics. We will need to make car heavier and change other parameters so that it will feel like a F1 car. Difficult but without trying you get nowhere. Here a ingame pic of the arrows. Need to add tex to it,that's why it is red. Also car is high on his wheels. And yes i put it for testing purpose in the groupc mod.

If you really wanna try putting that car to Heat, here's some suggestion about physics:
tires will be most important matter. F1 tires are QUITE different to sportscar tires. Just working on height/width and such won't do at all. You'll have to go for ALL tire parameters, including the "magic" numbers - step by step. Difficult task for sure. And LOT's of testing required. At least if you want to get the cars feel and handle right

And there will be more dificulties. Working gauges on a steering wheel. I don't think that was ever done before for heat. D... what for mess i get into. ;D

about 1600 "lbs" is the minumum weight to avoid pit flip(caused by jackman lifting a 3700 lbs car. have you tried the f1 cars we already have? think they are at Texasspeedracing.

And there will be more difficulties. Working gauges on a steering wheel. I don't think that was ever done before for heat. Would be a dummy helper calling for a dummy helper. That's indeed something new. Would be interesting if that could be made working You'd need to call the tachometer dummy from withing the wheel's MOD, which itself is called from within high0/low0. And you'd probably would want to make that tachometer a digitach, which makes it even more interesting. Though tricky D... what for mess i get into. ;D Not a mess, but a nice (and maybe tough) challenge hey, that's a bigger part of what's fun in modding ;D

about 1600 "lbs" is the minumum weight to avoid pit flip(caused by jackman lifting a 3700 lbs car. That' about 130 lbs more than a F1 car's weight is - including driver Which makes some additional adjustments to intertia, hp and torque necessary to get the summary right

Just putting my 2cents I suggest the damaging of wheels should be a lot less (much like SCGTS MOD) so that in online racing you can get someone warp into you and not be the end of your race because it breaks one wheel on impact and the other on the side barrier leaving you stranded, I think it would make for a much mroe enjoyable MOD not as realistic as in real life one bit of car on car action and that's it, but in real life there are no newbie's and there is no lag. Just my idea I wont be unhappy if you don't go with my idea, just a thought to throw into the works .

Well Harding that's a good idea. The reason why i make this mod is for online racing. And it should be fun too. If i wanted a offline F1 mod i wouldn't make it because GP4 is already good, the only thing missing is online support. And this is something where Heat is good at. Also i want the cars competitive, meaning a minardi will be slower then a Ferrari but alien racers like Crash can win with it against me in a Ferrari. This all to create fun and close racing where fights for tents of a second are available in a regular base. I will make a beta public so that the physics can be tested and changed to create it,this means that wheels issue too. Hope that you guys like this. Greetings jaremko

Another thing i don't have a answer for. Let's ask it here.
Should the F1 cars have a working suspension? I mean that you see it move.
This is my point of view here. F1 cars have a very hard suspension setup. You hardly see it move in real life, only if the run over high curbs and even then you need to look at it really well to see it move. I think that i could skip this but i am a little bit affraid that it would look weird. What do you think guys.
