I've seen some mods that have 95 degree spoiler angles. Doesn't that seem counter-intuitive? Seems that after 90, it may be useless. I could be wrong. I wouldn't mind some clarification on the matter. Thanks.

Well, Heat game engine allows to set anything from 0-95 on front and rear. And the units set in garage are fixed to % for front spoiler and degrees for rear wing
While some mods really make use of angles on this and limit the possible settings to some degrees, other don't. Other mods rather interpret the spoiler settings options as % as well, no matter what the garage says
So there's no right and wrong in this, but rather the mod author's interpretation if % or ° are meant
On GroupC and SCGTS for example I've made use of % for front and rear, while the Shelby settings is ° (and no front spoiler at all )

Ok, since you brought it up with the shelby's, if I moved a shelby setup to a group c mod, and changed the front spoiler, and then brought it back, that wouldn't affect the front spoiler at all?

Nope, it wouldn't. Though in the Shelby physics there actually IS a front spoiler setting (but not in Shelby garage), it's set to a fixed downforce value instead of a range. Means: whatever % or angle you set, it will always end up with the same downforce Same goes for any other mod. You cannot set the downforce higher than what's predefined in physics, even if you would somehow manage to set the % or ° higher than predefined
