Beech Ridge is now available for Heat.
Track Facts:
Length: 1/3 mile, 8 degree banking, paved oval
Location: Scarborough, Maine USA
This one is for Shawn Smith, one of the founders of The Mod Squad. Shawn's home track, Beech Ridge Motor Speedway. I tried to do this one up right for Shawn.
A conversion from NR2003, by J.R. Franklin, who had given blanket permission for his NR2003 tracks to be converted to Heat. The NR2003 readme contains a large amount of people who also contributed to that NR2003 project.
I have tried to extend the Heat version, on the great work done in that model by J.R. Franklin and others. I will not go into detail about all the additions/changes/rework in the Heat version, but this has taken several months to develop/test.
Thanks to:
Shawn Smith: for The Mod Squad site and many contributions to the Heat community.
The original developers of the NR2003 version, J.R. Franklin and many others.
DaveO: for the Haulers ingame, setup/GCF, testing, and detailed feedback during the development.

Below is further information about Beech Ridge Motor Speedway from the Readme in the NR2003 version:
(Parts of the following are condensed from the official website of Beech Ridge Motor Speedway: .
NASCAR legend Ken Schrader called Beech Ridge Motor Speedway one of his top ten favorite track’s in the nation.
Beech Ridge is a third-mile asphalt oval raceway that is renowned across the nation as a leader in the short track racing field. It’s a legendary speedway with a modern flair for great family entertainment. Oftentimes it is referred to as "The Little Track That Thinks it's a Big Track". It has won Speedway Illustrated’s "Best Weekly Show" award as well as NASCAR’s awards for "Outstanding Event Operation" and "Best Short Track Refreshment Foods". For 60 straight seasons, Beech Ridge Motor Speedway has been forging the way in Maine motorsports.
Every season brings a variety of racing entertainment that spans the summer. Saturday nights are NASCAR Nite, featuring the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series, and anchor the entire season from late-April until early-September. Thursday Thunder is the region’s mid-week sensation, trumpeting amateur level economy class racing that packs the house for ten straight weeks from mid-June to mid-August. The Wednesday Series begins in mid-June for eight select dates, serving as an upper level race experience for drivers graduating from the Thunder series. Friday nights in August are slam-bang fun during Car Wars, where Good vs. Evil and the cars are real characters! And the Day of Destruction says – and does – it all at three special events in May, June and September.
Through the years, Beech Ridge has hosted the NASCAR K&N East Series (formerly the NASCAR North and Busch Grandnational North Series'), Whelen Modified Tour (WMT), Modified Racing Series (MRS), Pro All-Star Series North (PASS), among other touring series.
