Pikes Peak International Hill Climb This is a offline only, TEST version of PPHIC and is not complete. I had worked on this almost 4 years ago, ran into issues, and never completed it. I thought I would make it available for Heat rather than just sitting on my disk. The track is functional until the mile marker #17-18 area and there are issues that prevent going to the top, but very drivable for about 10 miles up the hill to that point. If you have never seen the Climb Dance video of Ari Vantanen's run up the hill at the 1988 annual Pikes Peak Hill Climb in a four wheel drive, four wheel steer Peugeot 405 T16, you should. Search the internet for that video. The setups with PPIHC_TEST were done with the Legends Mod. Enjoy...Smoke www.texasspeedracing.com/tracks/PPIHC_TEST.exe--- Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, "Race to the Clouds " Length: 12.42 miles Turns: 156 Surface: pavement and gravel Elevation at start: 9,390 ft Elevation at finish: 14,110 ft Length of plus grade: 61,626 ft Maximum plus grade: 10.5% Length of negative grade: 3,934 ft Maximum negative grade: 10.0% Average grade: 7% The Pikes Peak International Hill Climb is the second oldest motor sports race in America and a long-standing tradition in Colorado Springs, Colorado and the Pikes Peak Region.

You're welcome. As I mentioned, this is "incomplete", ignore the "going wrong way" reminder, no collision walls, graphics needed a lot of work, etc, etc But very addicting. Now need to try some of the other Mods on it, never had time on that outside of Legends Mod, was just way too much fun. ;D

BIG fun track !!! Thanks a lot Smoke ! One remark though: When starting for my first run, i only needed some 100m to "hit" first singular tree on the left LOL. Was surprised nothing happened. Suggestion thus would be to make trees and rocks hittable (haven't tried on rocks yet, but suspect they are non-hittable yet too, right ?) Another suggestion would be to add some "flaws" to the track surface mesh to make it even more bumpy. IMO that would add to the fun (and probably even increase realism ?) ;D Didn't know that kind of track being possible with Heat Great addition !!!

I tried to take a stockcar up to the top of the mountain but with it starting to weave at 80MPH it was guna be a slow one, Although I pushed hard out every time I made a mistake I ended up back at the start I got up to the 14Mile mark then started to release a bit I came around a sharp'ess corner and saw a bank so I decided I was guna hit this bank and ride along the side of it. I guess this was one of the non-hittable walls because I went straight through it! heh ;D I will finish the course soon I hope
