Getting the HEAT on a different location

Hey guys,

I have been trying to put HEAT in the d:\nheat\ folder as suggested in the tutorial. Only now i got the next problem. The Nascar HEAT Mod launcher that i use, isnt working well with it. in fact when i try to point it to the run / data file it just says its pointing to the wrong file.

I really needed to move the nascar heat files since somehow my partition is getting to small. Tried to make the partition bigger but since its f: and the space i can use is on c:... partition magic doesnt seem to know how to do it. Probably cause f: is on the end of the disk and c: is at the start and ther eare 2 other partitions between it.

I have been editing the registry as in the tutorial... So i wonder what is left to do.

Hope some has an answer of maybe a different MOD launcher that is able to deal with this. Thnx in advance!

Since I don't use modlauncher (shortcuts instead), I have no clue about your problem

But someone sometime ago had posted some solution how to put NHeat ANYWHERE. AFAIK it was about some hex editing in Heat.bin - if that would solve that ML problem is another question.

hmmm i couldnt find heat.bin though...
