No new tracks??? Well thats a bummer. What cars are in this mod? I really think wrs would be cool over here at speedsims I appreciate you wanting to run the WRS mod...and it makes me feel good that folks enjoy that mod and are still running it...but you have to remember where you are at..... While the WRS mod is a short track mod mostly...and are perfectly fine to race on road courses with (I made sure they would be good for road racing as well)....these guys around here are typically diehard road course guys....so they'd want a more traditional road course type mod to race with. So DTM, Australian V8's and GroupC/SCGTS type mods are what makes these guys tick....so you'll not get much of anyone here to run something made mostly for short track racing on their road courses...and I have no problems with that.I don't expect these guys to pick up WRS for their road racing...when there are alot better mods that are road course specific types of mods. There is a new league running WRS though...if you want to run that in a league... newagesimracing.com/index.htmlThey have LimeRock04 and Vancouver on their schedule.

;DClarification ;D
This thread is about running 2005V8SC mod including second generation physics mod called 2005V8SCU2nd.rar, which contains the update to both the Ford and Holden cars of the mod.
So we will be running the updated version if the laugue formation goes thru, I havent been able to talk to crash yet, hope he turns on his puter today LOL.

Just caught up with this thread. Been crook since Sunday. I had been planning a new AusHeat series for the V8`s, but since Rob has got everything under control & I was planning to change ISP`s too, you guys go ahead with whatever you have planned. I may not be online for a few weeks. Due to some phone company disputes over who owns what lines, it could take up to 3 weeks for my ISP change apparently. Then when that`s done & see what sort of participation you got for the V8`s i`ll look at starting a series. Cheers...

V8s were my birth place of Tarmac racing were it all started (Thanx to Crash and Richie) I love this mod for the sake it was such a good learning mod you could fly into the wall at a great rate of knots after making a mistake and only get front spoiler/body damage which didn't affect the cars handling all that much. The cars were relatively easy to handle once I had downloaded one of Crash' setups and I found myself going from 5-10secs down a lap to only 2 or 3 with work on my lines and changing to manual gear I got quicker again within reach of Crash and Richie. Awesome MOD and awesome physics. If we get numbers like the last SCGTS league it would be one hell of a league! 15-20 cars of relative corner speed with same straight speed awesome!. I just saw this thread for the 1st time today and I'm really really happy! I would very much like this to go through! If it does may I suggest 2 tracks for the schedule, those tracks are.. Bathurst - For those in the know this is the main race of the real V8s calendar a 6hour 161lap endurance event that every kiwi and aussy watches from the edge of there seat beer in hand! Symmins Plains (spelling*) - This has always been a personal favorite of mine being quite a small track pit strategy comes into play but an awesome fast track apart from the 2nd gear hairpin where most passing occurs awesome track which see's 53(from memory)second lap times. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D cooknl mate I love you!
