Please, put in a dot now and then in your posts as that would enormously help in reading it As for "ebrake "... I know there's an option "ebrake" in options.cfg.... but theres an option about enabling ABS and traction control and horn and other nifty features. Unfortunatly these are all quite useless as Heat actually doesn't have support these features. But what in particular are you up for ?

What do you mean you don't have it?
You just had it yesterday when DaveO helped you.
Copy one from another mod.

Ebrake stands for Emergency brake.. For all online and offline racing, most people that I know don't enable this option. I've never used it personally.
If you were to use it, an example would be like "e_brake Key_L" But it would have to be setup with a wheel.
Not sure this would work with your controller razor.

I use handbrake/Ebrake with ALL my heat mods,(It makes standstill starts on hilly main straits a breeze, no rolling forward or backwards).

I always saw the option there in the past and thought it was liek the horn option etc that didn't work until Richie told me he had it all setup since then, I have never looked back. When set on an easy control its much easier just sitting there holding a button in while the rest of the field grids up instead of punishing the brake button down. I race on a controller and yup it can be setup whats needed to be done is while in game go to controls and select any of your existing button's and change it then push what button you want to use for the handbrake then the display for that feature will change into Button 9 or something remember that (write it down) and change that feature back to its previous button. Open up options.cfg get to the E_brake line and write like the following example, being sure to leave a space and I'm not sure if its case sensitive but its better to be safe than sorry . e_brake Button 9 Harding

ok - so ebrake = handbrake ? Might indeed be useful on standing starts and for drifting

ok - so ebrake = handbrake ? Might indeed be useful on standing starts and for drifting Yup e brake is a yanks way (most yank playstation games call them ebrake's) of saying handbrake . I don't tihnk it is more of a handbrake option but more just it turns on only the rear brakes. For drifting (if on a tough setup to get out) I suggest a reverse button and when you click into reverse put the gas down it will spit the back out nicely and you don't have to worry about the gearbox being plastered all over the race surface .
