Special rules for Watkins Glen!!!!
If you mis the chicane and gain some positions you have to give those back and resume on the spot where you were before.
In all other turns you should at least have 2 wheels on the racetrack, curbs are not included.

Well that was another exciting race. Don't know what happened in the 1st heat because I was in 5th place well all of a sudden Karl was behind me what made me claim 4th position.
In the second heat I was behind Karl again when he hit the wall on atart/finish straight that bounced him head on upon the pitwall and made him lose a wheel. Knowing that I wouldn't be able to hold on to 1st place with Crash, Patch and R.P. Jones right behind me I fought as hard as I could. I managed to get a 3rd place in that heat.

I was a little too fast out of last turn, slightly hit the left wall and the car turned to the inside - into the pitlane. Even though I drove out of it again backwards, the pits out-slowdown had already got my car... In second heat I did the same, but: instead of accidently entering pits, I crashed into the pitlane wall But was fun to see that VTA has a windshield damage model ;D Didn't even notice the missing wheel, just wondered why turning was that much of a problem on the following inlap ;D

Was a heap of fun! Well done Patch for a great race one & thrilling win! Race two R.P applied the pressure & kept me looking at the rear view mirror. Good racing by all & hopefully we`ll get a few more on the grid in events to come. Cheers...

Not that i know of. I`ll probably post one at the AusHeat forum by the weekend for download. If Karl enables gar files to be attached to posts it could be posted here also. Cheers...

If I'd know how to enable attachments, I'd enable it But I didn't find such an option in the config options But there's an easy workaround Just send me the gar file; I'll put it to the webserver and post a link here

Good news!... Found an installation of Heat on an old HDD on one of the kids PC`s. Has VTA set-ups aplenty, including Road Atlanta. I`ve just posted it in the AusHeat forum for any itchin to try(membership not necessary to access). Also sent it off to Karl so he can post here. Cheers...
