A few points; The series consists of 12 races, broken down into groups of 4. Each 4 race group will have it`s own Champ, then at the end of the series an overall Champ will be crowned. Events will consist of 2 heats, reverse grid for the second & standing starts. A vast number of car set-ups are available for download in the forum for those not wishing to start from scratch. Here`s a rough idea of what time races would be for you. = 9pm Auckland, New Zealand = 5am New York, U.S.A = 11am Stockholm, Sweden = 10am London, England - U.K = 11am Berlin, Germany If you are interested in running please visit the AusHeat forum for more details... Upcoming race this Sunday is at Adelaide. Start time for all events is 7pm Local Brisbane time, Queensland , Australia. Race day for all countries listed is Sunday = 9pm Auckland, New Zealand = 5am New York, U.S.A = 11am Stockholm, Sweden = 10am London, England - U.K = 11am Berlin, Germany From past experience on this track i would say anything is possible results wise. The walls are very unforgiving & flat out speed does not guarantee a podium. Seen plenty over the years, myself included, blow it with a handful of laps to go, usually due to being careless... Also overtaking is not the easiest prospect here, so the 2nd reverse grid race should be interesting. Looking forward to the race, should be a hoot! Set-ups available at AusHeat forum for any in need. Cheers... :03:

V8SC series 9 at AusHeat has been suspended due to lack of interest, participation.... I know Heat is not dead here at SpeedSims & other sites. But it seems AusHeat may be headed the same way as VROOM-club, to the graveyard... I thought the time slot & day chosen for our races would be attractive to European racers, but apparently most are Sunday morning churchgoers... ;D Some may have had reservations about server location offering poor connection. But as the AusHeat server hosted the last Group C event at Hockenheim(after technical difficulties with SpeedSims server), those reservations were warrantless. With drivers from Europe, America, New Zealand & of course Australia, the race ran smooth as silk in fat mode. But i digress, it matters little in the end. Thanks to all that have supported previous series over the years. We had a really great run and a tonne of fun for quite some time!... I`d also like to thank Karl for his efforts here to promote the series & also for his participation at events. You took to the V8`s very well! Cheers... PS; practice sessions for VTA & Group C races will still be held on the AusHeat server for those interested.
