So I did a good start, managed to keep a good pace (good for having practiced 10 minutes), and with two laps to go I managed to royally screw up and went from 6th to 10th - right out of the points One mistake, four positions down. Thats racing! How did it go for you? PS. Just read Karl's awesome report. Great job again!

Congrats to G.Noll on getting the pole and the win. Man I tried everything in my power to get the pole, but in the end you snuck right by me to get the pole. Good job! Karl, AGAIN another great race report enjoyed reading it this morning! So far in this series, it seems TDRT is a somewhat dominating force in getting wins and the poles. Nice job! But I'm damn proud most of ALL how us Speedsims heat guys have raced this series. All of us have worked together in practices, helping one another with sets, answering questions, and just everyone working together, and man the times I'm seeing all of us get is outstanding.. Yesterday so many of you were telling me how much you enjoyed practicing and just working on cutting down your lap times, I was very happy to hear that you guys have been enjoying it and are having as much fun as myself.. My hat goes off to each and everyone of you for making this series such and enjoyable one.

One mistake, four positions down. Thats racing! How did it go for you? One stupid mistake, a wrong decision from that mistake, and a potentially 7th or 8th place turned into a 12th If I maybe become a little less excited in these races, I may be able to run same laptimes as in Qualifying and practice. well, if...

Since there is only one race left in this series, you guys might want to take a look at this: gtseries.co.ukRuns GT2 FZRs, with limited setup options, looks really promising and dates do not clash with FXR mini series

Hi folkz,
I wanna tell you all that I´m really proud to race with you. This is a real gentlemen league. My special thanx to CHOLERIX who let me overlap him very easily.
I was very surprised that the first 5 drivers qualified within half a second with 1:31:xx. This shows that everybody has won by doing this races.
Yeah I got the pole. I was hoping for place two. There is a better line to enter T1 and T2. All you need is a short 1st and 2nd gear. So I was afraid that I could miss this. But in the end it worked. After T1 and T2 I took my profit from the fights between DaveO and Bambo. They slowed down each other. My pace was not as good as in some preparation races. So I never had tyre probs. In the end Bambo wasn´t able to close the gap to me. Lucky.
Right before this race TDRT has already won the team championship. Now it was on the driver selection. I can say that I reached my goal with this result - a podium place.
Last but not least, again a compliment for the report !

Great write up Karl! Very enjoyable race! Even though I ran out of juice... Got so excited about doing well, I neglected to pit in time...hehe But even the lead up was enjoyable for me, was determined to improve my times to something respectable. Ended up doing a few hundred laps in practice. But it was enjoyable this time around, rather than feeling like a chore. For the first time in the series, i`m actually looking forward to the next race... Even put in 10 laps at Fern yesterday, just to get an idea of the track. Cheers...

Well actually, since most series is a sprint + feature race it looks something more like: Q: xxxx.set RACE 1 Set: xxxx.set 15 laps - XX Fuel NO PITS RACE 2 Set: xxxx.set 30 laps - XX*2 Fuel PITS: Lap 12 Damage repair? For me there is a bit too much info and having that info written right beside the monitor sure helps

I made a drive-thru penalty on 1st lap and then cruised and waited for the others to make mistakes... until my wheel disconnected again. I am IT professional for many years, but these problems with network kicking me out, dropping FPS and wheel disconnecting are leading me to seriously consider quitting altogether, it is too much frustration to me and it is killing me for too long.

Hi Peter, It's unfortunate this happened to you during the race. We had 17 drivers at the start of the race and 16 drivers did complete the race. The server was working in perfect order on race day the upload speed was at 4130. But you also have to remember this is an international group, we have racers from all over the world connecting to the same server at the sametime, and sometimes things like this happen. It's unfortunate it happened to you during race time, but the further away you are from the server the chances of having some kind of problems on your line might happen.

No no, I was not talking about this perfect series. These problems are spoiling my whole PC gaming experience, maybe the next FXR Mini Series event will be my last online LFS race ever. :-)

Was quite a good result for me, considering the fact that I didn't touched LFS in two weeks and only had 10 laps of practice ;D
I reckon I could have cached Noll if it wasn't for my slow pit stop, slowed down way too soon, since I was gaining on him after I got my tires changed.
